  • This guy is a real Republican! Read the Constitution. Give Me Liberty you Fool!

  • Care to explain?

  • He just needs to calm down a bit, he just rambles on. He needs to take a zanex or something.

  • I will never forgive or forget what the media did to Ron Paul, I will never forgive or forget what the Republican party did to Ron Paul. I will never forget what the party members did in the county party delegate meetings. I will never forgive or forget what the stupid sheeple did to Ron Paul. I will love to watch the missery as this country blows up. Ron Paul warned us and tryed to save us but most ignored it. If you come to my house to steal my food I am armed.

  • I hear you, brother. I told a Republican fund raiser never to ask me for money again. "A prophet is without honor in his own land". Look what happened to Jesus, or more recently, General Billy Mitchell who gave us a warning 15 years before Pearl Harbor that the Japanese would attack by air - court martialed for his trouble. The bad news is that we won't have to wait 15 years to see that Ron Paul (and many others) were right. If we're lucky we'll have 15 months.

  • These two do agree on many issues, with the exceptions being health care and the Ni4d, so why have the Ron Paul Revolution March organizers backtracked and now uninvited Gravel to speak at the Rally? He has done more than any politician when it comes to fighting the Military Industrial Complex. It is truly an embarrassment how they have treated this American Hero!

  • thanks for posting this. if the paullers would just stop fighting for Ron Pauls theories and start fighting for the national initiative then we could get it passed and be free from the tyranny of the federal government

  • Hey man let me show you this video that reminds me of the National initiative.

It's a power that most citizens don't know we have that could have saved us alot of trouble from the Federal Gov.:

watch?v=OkfCFSUGT_g&feature=related (its like a multi part thing but this sorta explains one aspect of it)

Though one thing I don't like about the Initiative is the direct democracy. While it would save us from a tyrannical olagarchy it wouldnt save us from the majority ruling the minority.

  • So you think Average Americans working together would be worse then being ruled by a minority of elitist corporate sponsored crooks? basically what you're saying is that you don't have faith in your own country. You have more faith in elitist lawyers that are 100% content with destroying this country along with the planet?

  • You got it wrong, youre not supposed to have faith in the lawyers, youre supposed to have faith in the people. The problem is in a direct democracy the majority of people can still be easily manipulated by the media and politicians. If another terrorist event happened and everyone is scared? It would lead to more events like us invading Iraq or doing warrentless searches on others. A republic is about the law and the individual is protected which both elitists and majority do not care about.

  • If you're worried about public servants taking advantage and doing what theyre not supposed to then as the people we have a way to bring order in government. In the video it shows you that we have powers that we never exercise. You should look up another video called "Constitutional Lecture". Most laws that are passed anyways are unconstitution simply because they dont have the power in the first place. Then other laws passed violate other aspects and some are illegitimate (restricts rights).

  • do we have power to end the war in Iraq? do we have power to repeal the patriot act and H.R. 1955? Do we have power to abolish the income tax and replace it with the fair tax? Do we have power to cut spending on the military?

don't tell me we do cuz if we did we'd have done something about it already.

I have absolute faith in Americans. Thats why I want them to have the right to vote to make laws instead of just electing crooked lawyers to make up whatever crooked laws they want.

  • you're absolutely right sportsstar67! your observations are erriely prophetic. You and the majority of this generation(GEN-Y)s apathy will surely doom OUR REPUBLIC.

  • Oil has to fade out at sometime. and when it does it will be rough times for a while but sometimes it takes a little bit of bad to let something good.start converting your cars to run on 50% water

  • if the US sends all 13 of its aircraft carriers, and invite israel to help (israel can provide 300 more planes) they would have over a thousand war planes and thousands of cruise missles and could take out all of iran's defenses in one hour.

  • There are always those who think a war can be won from the air. First how man carries do we REALLY have in the region? 4? Second, even if your scenario was even possible, then what? Will Iran take a pounding and the deaths of thousands of its citizens and do nothing? What we know for certain is Iran and Venezuela will embargo oil. What else they will do we can only guess at. What happens to the stability of the region in general?

  • the US could send 10 aircraft carriers if necessary. they also have forces in iraq and afganistan on both sides of iran. so yeah iran can be defeated very easily. i don't think anyone is talking about targeting iranian civilians, just the nuclear sites and any military forces that pose a threat. basically cripple their ability to retaliate. they won't halt oil shipments because that would hurt their own economy more than anyone else's. the US should also attempt to decapitate their regime

  • Thanks for the rational reply. Again, I think it a foolish mistake to assume that any kind of attack will go without a response. More importantly, even our own intelligence agencies have concluded that they pose no nuclear threat. Modern Iran has never attacked ANYONE. Ahmadinezhad may be a nutter, but he has no power to launch an attack. Let's turn the question around. What would we do if someone attacked us? Would we limit ourselves to those responses that don't hurt our economy?

  • iran controls all the major islamic terror organizations, hezbolla, hamas, the iraqi insurgents and others. they are killing people every day using these proxies. so iran is hardly innocent. when they have the nukes of course they're not going to launch them against the US or israel that would be suicide (which by the way is not a problem for them because of their fanatic religion) but instead they would give nukes to terrorists who would use them to blow up US cities

  • Let's have some perspective here. You can find plenty of American Christian leaders who advocate destruction of Islam, which is a mixed bag just like the Judeo-Christian tradition (not surprising given all 3 worship the same god). Giving nukes to terrorist would be just as suicidal as launching a missile as the source can be traced. Who invaded what part of the world...again? Whose saber is rattling? Who labeled who part of a nonsensical axis of evil? How many Iraq deaths? Who is the threat?

  • of course we wouldn't hurt our own economy if attacked. that would be like, lets say after Pearl Harbor we would tell the world "we're halting all car production as a response to this attack" that would be nutts

  • An embargo doesn't mean no oil production, it means no oil sales to us and as both Iran and Venezuela have already stated that this would be their response, it would be prudent to take them at their word. If you reject that scenario, then what WILL Iran do? You can't imagine that they will do nothing.

  • they would do exactly what they say they'll do, use terror against us. they basically admitted they control terror networks that can hit us "anywere in the world". we can't allow ourselves to be held hostage by these terrorists. they're threatening to destroy israel and the USA every single day and are killng US soldiers and israelis anyway they can. the US should kick their butt. they had it coming for a long time. they're asking for it so they should get it

  • Again, a little perspective. The CIA overthrew Iran's democratically elected government in the late 50's and installed a brutal dictatorship which tortured and murdered Iranians until the revolution 20 years later. We did this for oil. Those who believe Bush and cronies tend to believe this conflict is about "national security". I believe that continuing to fall for the same story again and again (kicking butt for oil companies) is what will destroy us, not nations reacting to our violence.

  • true, but today's leaders can't be held accountable for what their predecessors generations ago did. history is less important than today's facts and the facts are that iran is currently the world's biggest sponser of terrorism. its impossible to defeat terrorism without defeating the regimes that sponser them. without money, weapons, training, and so on (all of which is being provided by iran) terrorists would not be able to do anything

  • The US is the world's biggest sponser of terrorism and has been for the last 50+ years. The blowback from past US foreign policy must be recognized if there is ever to be peace in the middle east. By the way, 400 times more innocent Palestinans are being killed when compared to innocent Israelis even though those stats are also censored by the US media.

  • 400 times? if that was true than there would be no palestinians left. because thousands of israelis were killed by the palestinians. multiply that by 400 and that would be millions of palestinians. in actuality only a few thousand palestinians were killed, not much more than israelis who were killed

  • The 400-1 ratio comes directly from the Nader website. I can't put the link in this comment but if you look at Nader's issues, click on reverse Middle East policy, then along right hand side click on article named "Gaza, Obama, AIPAC".

  • 5,000 jews were killed by palestinians in the last 10 years. if you multiplt that by 400 that would be 2 million. there would be no palestinians left in the occupied territories if that was true

  • ...Atrocities

  • bull. When an Israeli soldier gets kidnapped, their military goes on a supposed "terrorist" hunting spree which usually involves bombing or some other type of collateral damage. Israel kills a lot more palestinians for vengeance nowadays. Look up statistics on how many Israeli's have been killed this year as opposed to Palestinians. Matter of fact look up the statistics on that from 9/11 to the present. Harmless people are branded as "terrorists" over there. Israel commits its fair share of...

  • but do you agree that it isn't 400-1 ratio? because if that was true there would be no palestinians left in the occupied territories.

the palestinians are terrorists because they target innocent civilians, trying to maximize civilian casualties as much as they can. while israel tried to minimize civilian casualties and target only the militants that are attacking it.

  • Yeah agreed.

  • you've got that backwards

  • I'm sure you can add Ralph Nader an d Kucinich to this list. There are lso additional independent conservatives to Ron Paul that are completly against any thought of war with Iran.

All these bipartisan movements merged are a credible threat to the Neocon democrats and Republicans who sold their souls to AIPAC which could drag them in.
