@1842pen I think they use the Alesis Micron. There are a lot of MGMT covers on YouTube using the Micron. I'd check them out.

I found the Edirol at Guitar Center when I was looking for a keyboard controller. I know the M-Audio's have the highest rating so I checked them out first. They felt like cheap plastic to me. I saw this against the wall and was immediately took in by the solid build quality. The knobs felt just right, the panner moved from side to side (I'd never seen this before) and nothing about this controller seemed cheap. The keys felt just right to me too. Ratings gone, this is the one I'll go with.

there not much review about PCRs so thanks for that. Of course you need a pc, this is a midi keyboard not a piano:D

by the way, How is the use of those little pads ? look like so small ...

Those are a great keyboard and you can play quite well and will no doubt dig deeper and deeper into it's capabilities. They have discontinued the PCR, which is a shame - - - one thought, I am going to use those pad/buttons as program change buttons. You might try that, faster way to get sounds going, etc.

So you just linked the kobs to a Fx plugin ? Also say if I have 4 Filter Fx channels running dose the midi only kick in when the plug-in is high lighted or will it rejester without having the plug-in Fx highlighted ?

@Barabanskis Look closely, appears he's clicking stuff on a lap top or something. You can't use a midi controller without a PC (at least you shouldn't...reason4 ftw.)

Very nice playing nice to see someone who *actually knows how to play* on the synths! What do you think of the pcr? I'm thinking of getting the 300 to replace my oxygen. I've never tried a Roland joystick before, but I think it's actually pretty cool.
