The battery life is very good on bluetooth. I use it on my bluetooth helmet on my motorbike for the sat nav and talking. It lasts for a long long time. Hours.

no u don't have to have a data plan..u can just get a txtin plan :) n enjoy the full qwerty keyboard...but if ur on at&t its 30 bucks n well worth it but u will need 2 get a txtin plan also if u like 2 text...

Omg this phone is really good for texting. Its like a texting machine you can reply to a message with everything you want to say in like 30 seconds depends on your texting speed.  You can actually feel that your pressing something with the QWERTY keyboard. I have mine and I pay 30 bucks for the internet and 20 for the unlimited messaging.

I paid 500 dollars for this phone, I got it about two months ago, The camera is really good, But the battery dosent last, I charge mine every night for about 8 hours && within 4 hours its on the last bar, Thats only if you text alot, The phone only contains one game which is brick breaker, The music player is really good, But you will need to purchase a memory card, The phone itself only holds one song &A few picutres. I really wouldnt suggest buying this phone, Its a waste of money.

Hey...I have really been looking into buying a curve for the last week since my 2 yr deal ends soon on my old phone.

I mainly use my old Motorola Slvr now a few main things

1) Texting

2) Web browsing (i.e. sports scores, facebook, etc)

3) AIM

I was wondering does the curve from AT&T support AIM and if not can you download applications online?

Also, is the web browsing on the EDGE network fast enough or is it worth the while to wait for a blackberry curve with 3G?

I was surprised at how fast the EDGE was after hearing horror stories. (I have had my Curve for 3 weeks and love it) Texting is great on the QUIRTY keyboard.

I don't use AIM but think you can use it on the curve (it doesn't support Yahoo Messenger) However, after seeing previews of the Blackberry Bold (9000) with 3g and WIFI, I might drop my Curve for that-depends on the price and reviews when it's released.

I would definately go with the curve. My friend has the pantech, and the phone altogether is very slow. Texting is sooo slow and the keyboard is very annoying. My other friend has the curve and its way better. The internet browser is fantastic and she setup her e-mail and it's really awesome. The call quality is a lot better, and there are way better features on the curve rather than the pantech. I assure you'll get annoyed with that phone, especially if your a texter...horrible.

Also if you set up a $30 plan you do recieve WIFI for free and email too.And it also comes with something else for that plan but im not sure.Also i am also not sure with how long videos last sinc ei never really downloaded a video onto my Curve.You should check that up but i know you can only download videos from yourr computer.

I am not really sure what the HTC Dash is but i know the Curve is a really great phone!But the battery life really depends on how often your using the phone.Usually its up to 3 days until you really have to charge it but if your constantly usuing it for hours it could be less then 3 days which is a pain.Since i use it VERY often i am usually charging mine every other day or less than that.
