Hi! Good Day, this is Perry from the Philippines. I work on a television network called GMA-7 TV Network. We are currently doing an environmental documentary about king cobras in Thailand. I wonder if we can borrow this video of snake charmers in India and be able to use it in our documentary. This will be of great help to us to strenghten our story. Thank you very much.... If you have questions please email me at bidoh_10@yahoo.com.ph.
This Man is family tradition going back 100s of years, in various linages. They trap Snakes for the community at large, and as they handle the Snakes all the time, they have immunity, and the ones they keep are "milked" of their venom. The Snakes represent the Nagas or forces of creation, so there is a sacred aspect to the performance as well.
