@badabumbadabing1 Hi, this is gnome 2.x. not unity. the ubuntu version in this video is 10.04 lucid lynx. if you don't like unity try gnome shell, if you have ubuntu 11.10. :)

it is free, no money, it is faster especially on laptops. (windows after 4 months of using it...will loose 30% of the performance), linux will not. and yes, it is virus free. and it is prettier with more customizable things.

and, you will be a part of a great community, helping others and receiving help. with windows you will be the annoying customer...that does not contribute nothing but money to microsoft.

@suli8 Oh, you know that *-look.org are malware prone, don't you? They don't review any stuff that is uploaded there. And .deb files can contain install scripts which would be run with root permission during installation.
