  • This whole album is fucking sick.

  • @xTevinx yes.

  • If you failed then you failed cause your body is weak, and you'll never be as strong as you dream to achieve.

2 Weeks sober and back to daily exercise, thanks for this!

  • This song is from the perspective of a believer after God defeats Satan and returns to heaven. Since Gods Physical presence has left him, the man is confused and afraid that everything that he has put his faith in is false. He is thinking through what happened and wondering if he missed the point of Gods time on earth.

  • This is through Satan's perspective. Just saying lol. Hes replying to a person questioning Christianity.

  • why are people saying "Im atheist and..." or whatever... like dude the song is what it is.. we can al relate to these songs one way or another... because thats what good lyrics need... their songs are just amazing... with the lyrics and with the sound... just fucking listen to it.. and hear the religious part or just listen to the sound... like fuck off no oone gives a fuck... i dont believe in god either but shut. the. fuck. up.

  • @MonsterDistruction agree. music doesn't have a race, or religion, or anything. music just has heart, and that's all that matters

  • @AccidentAmbulance music could have a religion, this music doesn't have a religion but a faith/believe and sure music has a heart too, the heart of this music loves God... so please don't pretend God has nothing to do with THIS music.

  • @MrDragonflya i never said it didn't, what i was getting at was the fact that even though music could have religious meaning or undertone, in the end it's still art and it's still able to teach people things and connect people. even if they don't follow the same religion or have the same beliefs.

  • @AccidentAmbulance Exept pop and rap. Its all a bunch of random shit about drugs and sex. I dont see how people even call it music. The meaning of music is getting farther away from us with all this auto tune shit and dubstep ect.... My point is there's not alot of real music out there these days. The famous people should be famous for their TALENT! Not for slamming on a electronic keyboard and "singing" lyrics about sex and drugs. Anybody can do that.

  • @darknessveil97 pop is just a shortened version of "popular" so if this music becam more famous, it would technically be considered pop... and i don't know what rap you listen to but you can't be so biased, there are amazing rappers out there, who don't just rap about sex and money, there are actually lyricists who use rhymes to express positive and inspirational thoughts. don't be so close minded. enjoy some atmosphere

    /watch?v=zHxhvs5XoYA

  • @AccidentAmbulance I'm talking about the majority, like eminiem and those people are good, and the kind of pop im talking about is people like kesha. I mean little girls listen to that shit now days. Its pathetic some of the stuff they put out there. When i said pop, i wasn't implying popular, i think you know what kind of pop im trying to get at here...

  • @darknessveil97 alright good :P haha but yeah i agree with that shit. so much crap out there these days. all i was getting at was there was a day when the beatles and even popular jazz artists were considered "pop" but yeah. fuck kesha. i'd cunt punt her so hard if i could.

  • i love how people feel the need to say "im not christian" along with their comment hahahaha

  • @DanielBurns301 i love how on all of these songs theres people say "im christian" or "god bless this band" dont dish negative remarks if you dont even look at both sides

  • @BiOHaZaRdKiiD well speaking this is a christian band, people can say God bless and things of that sort.... he's not bashing he's just saying it is ironic...

  • @BiOHaZaRdKiiD LoL your watching/listening to a CHRISTIAN band.. that's right, CHRISTIAN band, want me to say it again? :D? expect Christian related comments, ok thanx bye

  • This bands rocks but I'm not a christian

  • This band still together?

  • @DaringDarkness umm yes as a matter of fact they are on tour with TDWP Letlive and Every Time I Die

  • I'm also able to cry something in a micro and to write a text as lyrics, which noone can understand :D

  • @ilvlag1c but they are both Christian bands lol

  • It got so heavy at, "I saw God die". Loved it. And I love how this ban writes in perspective.

  • im not a christian but i love deep lyrics :)

  • from what I am imagine if I painted a picture of this song, the world through this persons eyes must be so bleak, so lost and so horrifying that its the norm. An humans must walk through it in utter lethargy an dark hearted, just hope it don't happen though, cos it scares me.

  • yo check it man......damn they are good....

  • I hate the fact that people argue over religious views, Oh Sleeper is christian. Get over it, I'm not christian and they're one of my favorite bands because they're lyrics and songs actually hav

  • TDWP should sign to solidstate (sigh)

  • But that still small voice in his heart says "What if I'm wrong?" One day ,He couldn't take it. Finally He had to let God know that God didn't exist. But from that point on, he knew that he did. For one does not scream to one who doesn't exist.

  • @forthisisdeath /watch?v=AUpvf5ZFsVA

  • @TheTacoxBell I think he was saying its a joke because they believe that the universe came from literally nothing. Atheism undermines science and has been thoroughly refuted.

  • @CloverfieldMonster95

lol oh hey, you're fucking stupid. Atheism undermines science? Are you just trolling or that fucking stupid?

  • @SuperJevonb Pretty sure its a religion bro, dont hate.

  • @SuperJevonb I'm an Atheist. And I love all of the bands on this channel. Just saying, try not to be so harsh just because someone isn't a Christian.

  • @TheTacoxBell I find it to be awesome that your Atheist because you see the news today and how people are so fed up with each other. Here we can be Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Greek I do not care and neither will anybody else. Except maybe a few, but still we are the majority. Have a great day.

  • @SuperJevonb Calling yourself a christian without knowing what the bible actually tells you to do or not to do, that's a joke.

  • What do they mean by " I saw God die"? I know they're christian and super cool, but this is bugging me.

  • @Chesterbake the albums a concept. a story about a preacher and his atheist daughter.

  • @Chesterbake i think what he means by watching god die is when he loses all faith in god (in the aithiests point of view, not truely his own) and watching as an event during his/her life directs her faith away from god. something like that maybe

  • @Chesterbake This album is a concept album and is a follow up to Son of the Morning. People think that God and Satan killed each other, although God did not die, of course...Much of this is written from the perspective of athiests, a girl and her father. I think the father is Christian, but the daughter is not, in the beginning at least. I forget, look up interviews with Micah Kinard for a better explanation

  • @defenestratebob Are these interviews in text or on video?

  • @Chesterbake probably Jesus on the cross. idk

  • WHAT IF WE'RE NOT ALL ALLONE?????

  • sounds like Austin carlisle for Attack Attack!

  • @tdwpvsabr ...please tell me your kidding dude

  • But I saw God die!!!

  • 6 dislikes are those that will be left behind and believe that aliens did it

  • @n1bleachfreak it seems as if you like the novels by tim lahaye and jerry b jenkins

  • @MeneTekelUpharsin nope dont read

  • There's a HUGE problem with this song. It's too short! :D

  • @SuperJevonb insulting others just highlights your own insecurity.

  • @reidlosfothgil I agree

  • can someone explain their meaning in those song, and please no immature answers,

    im asking a serious question

  • @joker40378 It's talking about the inner heart of a lot of atheists. How there is always a sub conscious want for God. They always ask that question in their hearts... "What if we're wrong?..."

  • @TH3B3A57 ahhh ok thanks, now it makes sense ! Thank You ! (:

  • @joker40378 The album is a big story, based in Revelations. (The 'christian' man with his atheist daughter.) At this point God has left, letting Satan lay waste to the Earth until his return, and the father loses his faith. The other songs continue where his daughter is later raped, the father takes his own judgement and murders him, only later the daughter kills her father after realizing he is in the deep end, but instantly regrets it, and finds the mercy in God her father had denied.

  • @Apocolovids wow this album has so much to it !

    thanks a lot !

  • @joker40378 :)

  • Lifemetal.

  • Christian metal is great. Not like that death metal crap. I used to listen to death metal. Until I found out how evil and dark the message is. This is the same feeling and interest that all the others have. And what lots of people don't know is that it is gods word through coded lyrics and music.

  • @noahqweboy I like both kinds, but prefer this over death metal, it has so much more emotion and visceral anger. I don't think the message of music affects me though.

  • hey @Karnage515 i dont think the message is plain english 'do this, feel that, this is like this', aka lyrics. these are just here for people who search for that detail in music. the feeling is the message. in feeling, and liking, these songs: you realize: something is wrong. something very very big, is wrong. and its true 400 families and pillaging this planet. the profit incentive is eating everything alive.

  • @veneratio0509 im pretty sure u replied to the wrong person

  • @noahqweboy There are death metal christian bands.

  • @SuperJevonb want to hear a better one?

    god is real.

  • @Butsaay dude that made me laugh so hard.. classic. i agree with you man haha

  • Comment removed

  • @Butsaay

Reality is more funny than fiction sometimes. :D

  • @Butsaay your gay

  • @purpleguitarpicks its spelled *ugaye*

  • this is straight from god himself !

thank god for giving micah such a strong ministary !

    jesus headbangs like craazy btw*

  • I saw God die too... In a movie called Begotten.

  • New favorite band. Most underrated band though. Pity. They are phenomenal.

  • People who love this song should check out "The Chariot".

  • angriest christian song to date. <3

  • O.O THIS is 'Oh, Sleeper' ? I had always thought they were average, but holy CRAP, that was awesome!!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • @joemaestro88 hell yeah he does. Best lyrics I've ever heard or seen on this album!

PLus the vocals are just simply amazing.

  • i havn't listen to oh sleeper in ages, i don't know why, i am now downloading all their new shit, and paying for it too, because they deserve it, <3

  • 1:32

  • That moment when he takes a deep breath and let's out that vicious scream! Amazing.

  • I love how angry vengence fueled death metal is merging with christianity. Things are going so smoothly it's as if the two were meant to be from the beggining. Kiss my ass. crazy fuhkers.Bout time we'll c u in the pit. Glad your writing your own passes. Its taken long enough. Do you really think it's time? Will your peers agree it's all right. Are you there yet. Have the first anger fueled Christian metal mosh pits suffered life threatening injuries yet?u happy cause you can say its christian?

  • James Erwin from Oh Sleeper talks about this album on metalunderground(dot)com/interviews. Check it out for those who are interested, just scroll to the bottom and look for Sep.21,2011. Praise God for this band.

  • i sawwwwwwwwww godddddddddddd diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie

    best chorus ever

  • This band has some of the best lyrics I've ever heard.

  • This guys get deeper and deeper every album they launch

  • I believe this song is through the eyes of someone who's never known God. Seems to be taking place during the Apocalypse 'There is no Right or Wrong, No King etc...Then he realizes....What If We're Wrong?!?! The Lyric I Saw God Die Represents Him seeing Jesus on the Cross and Rejecting the Message of Salvation. (Which is offered to Everyone!!!) :-) 1:37 He Turns to Human Nature...Kill Be Killed. Without The Love of Christ...We are an Evil People. Btw, I Am a Christian and I Love Jesus!!

  • This song gives me goosebumps.

  • isn't it talking about satan being to powerful? like losing faith with god and letting satan take over? thats what im getting out of it.

  • wow this song threw me off... what are they talking about..

  • @tamakit123 Agreed.

  • @xxDiiamondisHerexx im afraid of which way to take this song lol

  • @tamakit123 The album is based of the perception of an over zealous religious person and an atheist. God and the devil fall out of the sky and disappear and all of humanity thinks they're dead in the beginning of the album. This is the zealots reaction to such.

  • the lyrics kind of baffle me.... its almost as if they are singing about losing faith and this is it. its just us as a whole. nothing else. extremely angry lyrics. i mean dont get me wrong. i love their music. but the lyrics to this song are pretty dark.

  • TROLLFACE OF WAR!! 1:44

  • Nietzche and Darwin come in handy when your trying to interpret this song.

  • this man has a gift for writing lyrics, straight up

  • I love this band because they have soo much feeling in there songs

  • First song of a Christian Metal Band were they saw god dying, damn very contradictive lyrics for a Christian Metal Band.

  • @UnderOurOath im pretty sure this is a song showing anger towards the people who call themselves "atheists" if you pay attention he's speaking like a person who lost all hope and thinks there's nothing in this world left that everything is a lie

  • @Hardtrax1990

No, not quite. Its not showing anger toward athiests. This is about panick when everyone thinks god was real, now he is dead. Their album is a story. All follow a piece of the story. Each of them dont have single meaning. Though Dealers of fame and hush yael are based on true stories.

  • @Twisthumorftw God is real he's not dead ... that's what christians believe and this is a christian band

  • @Hardtrax1990

Crap. I meant he dissapered and now everyone thinks hes dead, i think everyone saw his battle between god and satan and when satan was defeated both dissapered which made everyone see god was real but now they question where he dissapered too and panick. >_<. Sorry bout that.

  • @UnderOurOath

The album is a story and about and god disappering. This causes panick.

"What if were wrong? What if were not alone, what if were lost?" is the few people who have faith.

Look it up, youll see what i mean. :)

  • @UnderOurOath

My first sentence, i said in my head and i guess i didnt type it lol. Its about after the defeat of satan (in the last album) being defeated then both god and satan vanish. It follows a zealot father who loses faith and his atheist daughter who gains faith. Its a very good album.

  • @UnderOurOath - No contradiction at all. isn't Jesus God in the flesh? Didn't Jesus die on a cross? God did die. If it weren't for His death, we would have no relationship with God. " Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding" ~ Prov 3:5

  • Lmao man this is awful.

  • @IlovemySavior182 this whole album tells a controversial story of which after Satan and god battle, they both disappear and people are left in ruins, trying to find themselves out, which as they do they sin uncontrollably, revealing their true personalities. Basically this song which comes in the middle of the albums story, describes how followers of god lose faith and sin and go against his will, thus causing chaos. Hope that helps.

  • @3rdkoastskaterz This Ending - Let The World Burn... =]

  • @3rdkoastskaterz actually this song is the second song on the album

  • @SecretRSPS This cd continues the story from Son of the Morning. It ended with God and Satan battling and God triumphing. Then this album continues the story where our captain controls his captive (God has Satan) then he leaves and mankind believes he is dead. Then his followers (us) fall into sin and even try to play God (Claws of A God). Then sin has consumed us so deep that even God's word can't stop us (Family Ruiner) then we believe again in Chewing the Stitch. I could be wrong though. :P

  • At the risk of sounding stupid...can someone explain the meaning of these lyrics? I absolutely love this band but can't seem to get the right vibe from this one. Anyone care to help?

  • This is how I feel when I'm trying to share God with people.

  • Comment removed

  • This is definitely my favorite off of Children of Fire.

  • I love Oh, Sleepers albums cause they all have amazing stories and lyrics behind them that help lead us in the right direction

  • i thought he was singing "my soul can't die"

  • @AmnestyPleas3 I swore I heard the same thing.

  • Even as an agnostic atheist the concept of this album is still incredibly terrifying D:

Even more of a reason to love it though <3

  • wow...... amazing.....

  • I love how he uses the breath, effin' amazing.

  • 1:19 instant goosebumps on both my arms.... Amazing

  • goosebumps <3

  • Needed a breakdown after 1:55

  • @bigfootmaster1 not every metal song needs a breakdown its in every other metal song i think its cool that they dared to not put a simple breakdown there. (all breakdowns are simple they're basically just fillers where solo's wouldn't quite fit lol)

  • 1:30-1:55 0.0

  • i love that breath at 110 before i saw god die

  • Comment removed

  • this song is having an argument with itself, lol

  • what does this song mean??

  • @StopTheClip read the lyrics and interpret it for yourself. or, you could listen to my definition. its using the usual flawed christian logic of "what if god does exist?" to bash atheists, pagans, and heathens. not necessarily bash but to shoot down and show the christian side of the story. now that ive shown you this, please watch my video "the god hypothesis" and it might give you a good look at my side of the story too.

  • @StopTheClip its the song from the point of view of a priest who just witnessed god disappear after destroying satan in a battle and its about how the world is basically hell now that god is gone from the world

  • @TimmyWearsPrada oh is there two people who sings this song? like the priest and somebody else.(maybe the girl). cus it sound to me in the line

"what if we're wrong. what if we're not all alone, what if we're lost and we miss the whole point of it all. what if we're wrong. what if we're not all alone. what our peace can never be found on our own." it kinda sounds like its a different person saying it.

  • @StopTheClip yeah i'm pretty sure thats the daughters response to her father. cuz it you read his verse, then its pretty much a direct response to what he's saying

  • @TimmyWearsPrada also. how do you know its a priest? wait is the father the priest??

and how do you find out all this information?

  • @StopTheClip i watch the interview on this album and listened to the album that was before it. the previous album ends with god killing satan then this album is about a priest and his daughter who was an atheist who saw God and satans final battle and God disappearing.

  • @TimmyWearsPrada oh. i think i saw an interview too. like i heard this is the next part of the Story or Album. after God Cuts Satan's Horns Off. and God and satan jus left earth i think.

  • when he said i saw god die i got chills!!!! i love OH, SLEEPER!!!!!! XD

  • i love them :) saw them live october 1st

  • this song reminds me a bit of The Chariot tunes : ) its amazingly good

  • This has to be one of the angriest songs by a Christian Metal band, ever.
