Congratulations! It is a wonderful song! I am just learning English and probably I understand 79% of the song! But at this level seems to be amazing! I've always believed this was the song that prompted Robbie Fulks to write "Fountains of Wayne Hotline". If the FOW boys could invade his idiom this successfully, Robbie would show them he could hang in the "power pop" gendre every bit as well.
Love em both and I'm glad they respect each other's work. How about a shared cover record. One half FOW plays Fulks; 2nd half Fulks plays FOW?
