I totally agree with you about the logo thing. It never made sense to me to pay such a large sum of money to give these huge, rich designers free advertising. It is a status symbol to some people I reckon.

@Mrsjustheretolearn I had similar VW shoes in patent with a big gold heart on the side they looked awesome as bookends. I don't have them anymore though because I sold them on eBay :-(.... (I needed the money)

@tammyholmes I have a vintagefaux fur coat from the 30's that was passed from my great aunt - to my mon - to myself. They indeed made faux fur back in the day :)

@tammyholmes - fake fur was developed in the 20s and started to becom widely used in the 50s so there's no reason it wouldn't be fake. I have 1 wrap and 1 coat from the era, both stunning and 100% fake fur.
