Ok explain this to me; I just read the other day and it said that every single branch of the military is getting roughly a quarter of what they requested budget wise next year, so basically we're not going to be able to afford the equipment and supplies that we need to continue conducting operations overseas. Republicans claim that they support the troops, but as soon as anybody mentions raising taxes so that the military can meet budget requirements, they scream bloody murder.

The housing bubble in the SF Bay Area began to burst at the same time. Were trying to sell a house ...and it sold - finally- just in time. The prices began to go down immeditately after the dotcom problems because people lost jobs and were losing out on their homes. The demand was gone. Just setting record straight.

There are a lot more importatnt issues in the world. Car accidents are a more significant issue than terrorist attacks.
