  • i thought that cobalt has front wheel drive

  • That's the first time I've seen someone use a Cobalt. That's a really cool thing to see. I've never tried it myself either. Maybe I should.

  • toyota trueno :(

  • why are you guys talking shit about what car he picked, first its a game, second hes playing not you and it his choice to wat car he picks lol, go get ur self xbox360 buy forza and then try drifting and make a video with w.e car u want, he likes the SS so wat i dont blame him i love that car

  • Good choice of music, rise against are good.

  • Oh sorry i hadn't read the description yet xD

  • Dude Chevy Cobalt is an FWD xD

  • wow if somebody really did do a rwd cobalt SS ill love them for life...if they let me drive it :D

  • i say the shelby combat was best lol

  • Scion is a sub division of Toyota, it's import.

  • This is cool man, but when u make a drifting video u might want to cut out the audio next time lol. Not the music but the tire squealing.

  • @IGetSikWitIt You mean the big kids who are 13-16 year olds and don't have their real life driving license yet?

  • chevrolet, mitsubishi and BMW my favorite cars... who cares about which country the brand is from :P

  • YOU GAY KID!!

  • JAPAN CARS WIN IN DRIFT! AMERICANS WINS ON DRAG RACES.(If supra doesnt come),

  • @Provokattor34 That's why a 2011 Mustang took first place this year in Formula D right? That's also why American V8's DOMINATED FD right??? inb4, oh derp that'd fd i hate v8's i'm gay herp"

  • @krankank ok, almost every car in FD is a V8, even the import cars are hooked up with V8s (tanner fousts scion tc), bet vaughn wouldnt last in the D1 championships in japan

  • @ScarButta You're absolutely correct, and that's because of reliability and power to cost ratio. Put it this way, what's going to have a bigger chance blowing up; a 500hp SR20 or an LS with the same amount? Don't get me wrong I love the smaller engines, but the v8's are showing that they're a force to be reckoned with. lol idk about Vaughn man, I may not like him as much as some of the other guys but he certainly has some skills.

  • @ScarButta scion isnt an import lol. scion is american :P im a japanese import guy so i know scion is not no import

  • @Mclarenf1lover123 scion is japanese bro. owned by toyota, which is japanese. Scion was suppose to be the sports line for toyota for America, that doesnt mean its american, its still japanese

  • @ScarButta ohh didnt know toyota owned scion haha

  • @Mclarenf1lover123 funny coming from an import guy lol. gotta keep up more man

  • @krankank V8s always fail, they are very poorly made, in america that is, the engineering here is terrible

  • @Gidenkidenk Lol face palm, that's why they generally last longer than the smaller european V8's right? I really hope you're trolling lol.

  • tell me how an SS can drift if its FF? thins is worst then NFSU

  • @playstationpro13 My god you should never comment on a forza video again..

  • Everything in this game work because there is no physics only imagination.

    GT5 #FTW

  • @blackseries99 GT5 ftw... like 4 years late...

  • its not even a battle lol SS cobalt murdered that AE86

  • you cant do that in real life

  • @TheChevy496 get a car and you will see its not exactly that sketchy but you can

  • @TheChevy496 you can do anything you want if you have the money.

  • Sick song :)

  • Tune!!!!

  • american cars suck

  • @Gidenkidenk You can suck on my american car.

  • @DjCHAOSEZPOT GidenKidenk GO To JAPAN THEN FUCKER!

  • @Gidenkidenk america makes the best cars! and im from europe

  • @EAsportz1 name me one "good" car from America, and I can tell one from a different country, which is built for the same purpose that is better than it.

  • @Gidenkidenk I agree.

  • SatanBrutal666 is online lol......

  • Lol get a fucking life freaks

  • a S13 that needs a few hours worth of work is $1000 and junkyard tires are cheap

  • WTF its a game, nothing like real life

  • @MrSparco777 it's the closest you can get to real drifting without going out and spending 3 grand on a 240sx and going through god knows how many tires

  • and also for you kids, even if you did do a RWD swap on a Cobalt, you would still have problems. FWD cars have understeer and a short front nose, while RWD cars usually have oversteer and a longer front nose so you would still have trouble drifting a RWD converted FWD car

  • @MrSparco777 wow dude. Stop acting like you know shit. Dosent matter what kind of car its how you tune it and drive it, RWD Conversion from a FWD dosent mess shit up. Im drifting in this video with it arnt i? Besides il admit its not the best dritfing i made this video a long time ago but i can tell you that its more then possible to drift amazing with RWD conversion.

  • @MrSparco777 uh no you dont drifting is drifting on this game

  • @MrSparco777 With a RWD conversion, a FWD car gains all the characteristics of the RWD car. Extra parts mounted further back increase rear weight, and since parts are removed in the front front weight is reduced, significantly affecting the balance (in other words, no more of the understeer you seem so sure about.) A short front nose has nothing to do with it; under/oversteer balance is about which end of the car loses traction first.

  • @MrSparco777 Search "Formula Drift Scion tC" to see a real-world example of what I'm talking about.

  • @MrSparco777 it dont matter what car. AWD, RWD, FWD...i can drift them all n dont try n tell me thats impossible cuz i can give you the names of 30 other people that can do the exact same. its about the DRIVER, nothing more.

  • @1badmexican666 Indeed. Even though FWD cant hold a drift. Ive seen people kill it on angle. AWD is drifting. Just a another style. I used to think it wasent untill i started doing work with Team Nitro.

  • you can drift with AWD and RWD, but its pointless arguing this on a game video where 3/4 if you kids dont even have a real car. quit pissing away money on little video games, put the money into a 240sx that needs a bit of work and do this stuff for real and know what youre talking about

  • @MrSparco777 now that is a plan!

  • why did you hide the fact that someone was getting online?...and you kinda failed on it cause you can see it for a split second

  • satanbrutal666

  • For the record, if you want to hide something, it's better to put an actual message in the annotation; something like 'I'm a bit annoyed about this skid here', or 'turned too hard here...'; just putting

    .

    .

    .

Only draws our attention to the fact that you're hiding something.

  • nice , i love cobalts :) and i love forza 3 Get at me toNICE_v2 :)

  • Good stuff yo...... and whats up with the AWD-RWD arguments?

  • Great Drifting. I'm more of a full on racing guy myself, but even that is plausable

  • all u douche bags talking about awd drifting god its just a FUCKING game!!!!

  • UR cars suck bro

  • I iz gonna add you :) you beast at drifting and you have an awesome music taste xD GT: LTD Snipe Star

  • haha rise against sucks

  • i feel sorry for that other guy lol

  • If this was a race to the bottom, the AE86 might have won. At the end, he was catching up. I love the 86 for its RWD and light weight. Believe it or not, the 86 I have in my game has only 150HP and it got the best time on the old downhill (4min 30sec) and the best amount of points (52,846). I wasn't drifting like the pros, only for fun; Initial D style (but nothing like Takumi). Did that make any sense? XD

  • just saying i drift rwd but ken block drifts awd so there is such thing as awd

  • awesome vid..lose that fuckin homo cobalt

  • Looks like fun mate. Add my GT: Tearoth

    Let's drift sometime :)

  • the cobalt is fwd wtf it looks like its rwd in this game, or maybe your just that good?

  • @zievan123456789

Drivetrain swap. So it may come FWD stock but this car isn't stock.

  • @zievan123456789 yeah but he's probably changed it to rwd

  • Neither of these cars are even AWD, how did that argument even start?

  • Hey bro, I like your style. I am gonna add you, would you be interested in a friendly battle or two?

  • AWDs powerslide/drifting, RWDs drift more than powerslide!! I tried drifting with an Audi R4 AWD and man does that not feel like drifting and then I tried with a Sprinter and it felt more like drifting but you can still drift with an AWD just not as much but my Audi was pretty upgraded so it depends how youve upgraded b/c you can drift with any car. ITs different for each person!

  • @realrs555 and I just started drifting when I tried out the Audi so that makes a difference too >_<

  • it would look better if you both had more angle

  • nice drifting btw. To all u people who think AWD isn't drifting well if u look at films like the fast and furious who probably inspire boys to tune themselves they use AWD to drift so why r u bitching about AWD i mean i use both RWD and AWD it doesn't matter which the main thing is u enjoy going sideways. This guy is using RWD u can tell if u can't then please quit playing racing games

  • keep in mind everyone that team orange uses a subaru impreza which is in fact AWD

  • @WaggunTin Um, the Team Orange Subarus are not AWD, they are RWD converted. AWD is not allowed in D1GP or any other drift campionship series so I have no idea were you came up with that information.

  • @SYNJake I just figured that because Imprezas are generally AWD, a lot of people could've made that mistake.

AWD can drift, it doesn't matter what drive it is (except FWD).

More power in an AWD is sent to the rear wheels than the front anyway.

I'd say a powerslide is a type of drift because in the end drifting is going to involve controlling a slide with primarily the throttle.

  • AWD RWD who cares? it's all just sliding a car around a curve. drifting. if u wanna get technical AWD is powersliding but still if it's easier to drift AWD which I know it is go ahead and use it. if u want a challenge use RWD. it's your OWN choice.

  • @FishyButter Nah dude. It's not JUST sliding a car around a curve. There is so much more than just sliding. There's certain lines and clipping points that make it more difficult and technical. There's also the amount of angle and speed you have. You can't just have a massive amount of angle and have not speed. And you can't go super fast while having no angle. You have to have a balance of both. And if you do a tandem, it makes doing all this difficult things, even more difficult.

  • @hungrymotherfather well I wasn't trying to enphasize the JUST part but I mean awd and rwd are pretty much the same because powersliding and drifting aren't very different. and I know drifting is difficult because I stall drifts ALL the time on Fujimi Kaido going up hill on a curve. but I can drift pretty good on the rest of the track.

  • @FishyButter No. AWD and RWD are not even close to being the same. Sure they can slide around the corner, but Its how they slide around the corner that makes them so very different. AWD can pull 90 or even 110 degree angles while going pretty fast, but RWD has an advantage of linking drifts cleaner. RWD is also more difficult to execute than AWD.

  • @hungrymotherfather well I'm not trying to say they are close but I mean like they r both sliding a car and I drift RWD all the time but I'm saying that AWD is a beginner setup for drifting but I know they are different but they're also shouldn't be any arguing because it's the peoples choice. and anyways thanks for not being a jerk about anything cuz u just stated what u wanted to say and thanks for that :)

  • @hungrymotherfather In some cases this is true but AWD cars need more HP to do a legit drift. Because of the AWD system the power from the enigine is being transfered to all 4 wheels instead of the real 2 meaning more power is needed to make the car drift rather than powerslide. A 90 to 110 degree drift is impossible unless the car can hold that angle. AWD cars can hold around 60 to 70 degrees and the average RWD can hold 40 to 50. That 90 to 110 degree slide can be achieved by any car.

  • @FishyButter AWD and RWD drifts are very different. AWDs need much more power or a much lower traction in order to drift. Also an AWD car moves much differently than a RWD car. An AWD car rotates around the center of the car and a RWD rotates closer to the center mass(closer to the engine). And powersliding and drifting are very different. Drifting is when all 4 wheels are in a controlled slide(countersteer). Powersliding is using the momentum of the car to slide around a corner(no countersteer)

  • @SYNJake I know -.-''

  • what part of the game do u get to drift?

  • i love how when someone posts a drifting video and does ok every one starts jumping to conclusions saying oh your awd you have no skill or oh your running positive camber so what i drift rwd and i dont care if anyone else choses to drift like that anyway if your a good enough drifter you should be able to out drift your opponents no matter what they run in so any awd drifters keep doing what you wanna do cos it doesnt matter as long as your having fun

  • @R1V4LR3B3L drifting is using rwd anything else isnt exactly drifting

  • @jiggyflumbug55 GO TO HELL!!!

  • awd isnt even drifting its powersliding yeah?

  • nice car and it is rwd they are the only tires smoking a lot

  • @Mclarenf1lover123 wow dude your kinda out there arent you lol. i think even some one with the IQ of 5 could tell that the cobalt has been converted to rear wheel drive. i mean come on face it if it was front wheel he wouldnt countersteer he would be steering in massivly and holding the e-brake. get som glasses.

  • why are u using a cobalt for drifting? lol its front wheel drive. nice vid though :D

  • in real life, the 86 would win

  • 1:37 FAIL!! LOL thumbs up though.

  • its an AE86 not a trueno(well its the same thing, but most people call it a AE86)

  • what is your setup for drifting in your cobalt?

  • great drifting but you guys need way more angle. pm me so we can drift

  • Hey everybody seriosly. I can agree and disagree with your AWD drifting arguments. Im drifting RWD in this video. Both of us are. So wtf is with all this AWD talk?

  • @DjCHAOSEZPOT You sir get a thumbs up

  • @DjCHAOSEZPOT i know, AWD! i mean come on, any real drifter uses RWD, i can understand sonvertin an AWD to RWD but AWD drifting? its just a fuckin power slide

  • @DjCHAOSEZPOT it is easier for a noob take it from a noob

  • @DjCHAOSEZPOT If people say you drift with AWD, they exactly know that its RWD but most of them are just jealous.

Yuor drifting was very well in this video.

  • Cobalt SS FTW!!

  • Like the song

  • @maverick01254 Not gonna lie ur right. thats one of my first lol but my new drift cars look way better

  • @maverick01254 no your the fool awd has the characteristics of both rwd and fwd. meaning you can break traction but the front wheels will snap you back to. meaning it will take more work to drift. but it can be done go research it for yourself

  • weak

  • @jogproofys im glad u liked it

  • you can "drift" an all wheel drive vehicle the only real difference is that it will regain control a LOT faster meaning that if you want to sustain the drift it will be much more difficult. The very second that you hit the gas it will want to take control, which IS what all wheel drive was meant to do. It's not quite the same as a rear wheel drive vehicle, and from what I hear takes a lot of work to get right

  • AWD drifting is Gymkhana DUHH

  • Good video but ditch the shitty music that is WAY to fuckin loud.

  • is rwd or awd better for drifting?

  • @LacedChucks-No such thing as AWD drifting.

And if you were a real drifter, use RWD!

  • well if youll notice this is a video game, so no one who plays it is a real drifter, but its too hard to drift rwd in this game its fucked.

  • @KiDPiNoY31 aint true bro

  • It is true, there is no such thing man.

In D1, real drifters use rear wheel drive. If you prove me wrong, then whatevs....

  • @KiDPiNoY31 Kent Block uses an AWD car for drifting, it has more pull than RWD cars for drifting.

  • @cleve101 Haha. That's not drifting man.

That's called gymkhana or however you spell it.

  • @KiDPiNoY31 That's the style of DRIFTING, Controlled power slides aka drifting.

  • @cleve101 actually power sliding is completely different then drifting it requires sheer power and no balance drifting is using techniques to control your car in an slide where nether rear or front tires have any grip it is the hardest and most skill full way to take a corner and is implemented by alot of grip racers to control under steer

  • @blanketbuddy I said '' controlled power sliding '' is pretty much drifting,

Before drifting was invented stunt drivers were doing it, either over steering into a corner and spinning the back tires or E braking into a corner and then spinning the back tire, There style '' drifting '' just focus' on the control of sliding through every corner. when you say drifting usually you refer to a driver controlling his over and under steer through a corner, that's exactly '' controlled slide ''

  • @DjCHAOSEZPOT kidpinoy is right the true definition of drifting is entitionaly educing over-steer to cause the car to slide threw a corner in both ff and 4wheel drive when you introduce over-steer the front wheels grip not slide so

it is not possible for front wheel drive of 4wheel drive cars to drift they powerslide

  • Um, it is, duh. AWD = Powerslide (Which I love to do, but it ain't drifting.)

  • @DjCHAOSEZPOT it is, AWD takes no skill, no countersteering or throttle control

im a hardcore rwd drifter, and i decided to give awd a shot one day, i actually tried to spin out, i did a 180 degre spin on a turn and still managed to bring it back around, such garbage

  • @KiDPiNoY31 what kind of comment is that? drifting was created in rally racing where awd and fwd dominate. you talk about drifting yet you don't even know such basic knowledge.

it would have been more accurate if you said rwd drifitng is fake since rwd is the least desirable car layout in rally racing and dirtra trials.

  • @nofingershaha- That's why real D1 drifters use RWD right? Dude, more people want to know and be involved more into drifting than rally racing or trials. I'm not smashing on AWD cars, I'm just saying that it's not drifting. Even in the D1 series, many professionals convert their AWD cars into RWD. How is RWD fake, it's widely used in many sports such as F1, NASCAR, DRAG, and many others.....

  • @KiDPiNoY31 drifting started out as a racing technique popular in Japan.. In the Mountains of rural Japan, a form of drifting called Togue (mountain racing) is how it was all started.

  • Comment removed

  • @ROCK25LP- Haha. Have I ever asked how it started? Dude, drifting became popular when Keiichi Tsuchiya drifted an entire circuit and won. Everyone was amazed on what he did, so they made it a sport. And that sport is called D1, where the cars they use are only RWD. And I know what touge is, Keiichi Tsuchiya is best at that too. Dude, I'm not capping on AWD cars. The EVO8 and SUBURU STI WRX are amazing cars. I just don't believe that AWD is drifting....

  • @KiDPiNoY31 That is the main problem with today's perception of drifting. Everyone thinks Rwd sliding is drifting when the original drift was nothing like that. Drifting was a technique used to keep the throttle up to prevent turbo lag in Rally racing and to prevent the power band from dropping in weaker cars. The car sliding is just a side effect. As for my comment before, my point is that you can't dismiss Awd when it was Awd and Fwd that created the technique in rally racing originally.

  • @nofingershaha- I want to ask how you think that RWD is most desirable layout. It dominates in almost every racing sport known to man now a days.

  • @KiDPiNoY31 look at ken block AWD

  • @heroicwaffles- Ken block is NOT a DRIFTER!!! He is powersliding...Take this into consideration. Listen closely. If AWD was drifting, why aren't there AWD cars in D1? All D1 racers use RWD. Even the AWD cars are converted to rear....

  • @KiDPiNoY31 - Look up the definition of Drifting before making your self look like a fuckin moron . - Sayin KB isnt a drifter LOL YOU TUBE HATER -

  • @TurboTooNice-Ken Block is great at what he does, don't get my wrong. But alright, drifting is using over-steer to slide through a corner and causing the front wheels to loose grip. With AWD and FWD, that's impossible....they grip instead of slide. That's what you would call Rally, or Gymkhana. Tell me why all D1 racers only use RWD then?

  • @KiDPiNoY31 uhmmm you want real wheel's to lose control bud, when front wheels lose control that my friend is an accident lol

  • @TurboTooNice- I also looked up the definition. In D1 FWD and AWD do qualify . On the other hand, it says FWD aren't eligible due to the drivetrains inability to drift. So they are modified to RWD! AWD, such as wrx sti, evo, or skyline all qualify but they all need to be converted to RWD specification once again....

  • @KiDPiNoY31 lol dude ken block is drifting if u watch the gymkhana he drifts but he cant oversteer too much cuz then he will get grip and go straight again so therefor he doesn't oversteer as much as u do in a rwd car.

  • Comment removed

  • @heroicwaffles Ken Block isn't a drifter. That's just Gymkhana and Rally. People just asume that if a car is going sideways around something, its called a drift.

  • @KiDPiNoY31 he is right AWd is a power slide not a drift. you have more control in al wheel drive.

  • @KiDPiNoY31 what ever! let the man be shit AWD drifting is hard and thats why you dis on it is cause you cant do it so STFU!! and its only a game dont take it so serious.

  • cool vid man and nice car ill add you for sure

  • dis shit fake like a mothafucker

  • would it be cool if i added you? my gt is Desjarlais07 maybe we could drift..or i could buy setups and/or designs off you and possibly help paint or something..

  • why wont u get close? battle are supposed to have a tandem kind of ryhtim

  • any one add me if u wanna drift for fun im a champion 28 my gt- hierarchist

  • The S Rev. Add me for friendly battles. I wanna practice because I'm new. =)

  • SodaOneRxX.....thats my gt...i wanna battle you

  • aw man... the trueno oversteered! :( if not it would be a hard fight!

  • how do you drift like that tell me?

  • aww the 86 would have won if it didn't mess up because it was catching up and the part when it messed up was the part where it would pass the cobalt

  • well that was not so good, you should take another camera and try to keep the drifting and also drift out side that much better. if you want to drift battle send a message to MRxFUNxAMT.

  • drift outside, that shits too hard.

  • 1:37 lol not ever1 can b takumi fujiwara in a 86' haha

  • @vabeachbully lol, i have an awesome Fujiwara Tofu 86, still mastering it

  • lol yea not everyone got that one ,but they are very squirrelly with a high powered engine.

  • ditto. but i love my tune. mmm.

    stock motor N/A.

    333HP, 1800lbs (approx.)

  • the guys is spinning out at the end

  • what class cars were you using ?

  • class S.

  • nice for an emo nose picker. Kidding man great run I'm not into those sort of games but that was some cool drifting.

  • LOL thanx dude. Now i know why my nose is so big =D

  • lol im not sure if you meant to spell the band wrong. But its Rise Against. Extremly good drifting, you ripped that newb up big time

  • lol thanks for telling me that its fixed now =)
