I was thinking about ordering a modbook, for about the same price i can get a cintiq ux. i havent done enough research to know which one is a better choice...outwardly the size of the cintiq makes it seem superior but the modbook's portability seems like it would make the cintiq obsolete. is there a cintiq that works as a laptop like the modbook?

Cintiq, 1024 levels of sensitivity, and also is the major necessity for any designer. The modbook is just some crappy tablet that is overpriced.

my question is does cintiq have a model like this...thats half computer, half wacom. Like if i were away from home could i do my work on it and do misc computer business as well.

I think the idea is pretty cool. The mod seems great, except i wouldn't buy 1 since I have no use for it but if it had a keyboard and is like regular PC tablets, then I might consider it since im doing graphic design, and its easier to do on the Mac

Sounds like a expensive tablet.. but the whole portable aspect does sound appealing.
