I wish Jessica still performed..sad now her voice sounds really strained..she always dresses frumpy wearing hats and doesn't smile much..hopefully someday she will make a comeback I always loved her voice growing up..
I like her facial expressions when she sings. You can tell when someone is just going through the motions, or in Jessica's case someone that really gets into her music. A pleasure to watch and listen to.
Her voice is amazing. The only thing I wish she would've done differently was to show more heart and meaning in her face when she sang. Without it this particular video was kind of boring. Still love the song tho.
whoa i just flashed that Mylie (cyrus) should/will cover this song in a couple years and have a HUGE hit with it (Who I Am is >>> "The Climb" as a tune, duhh). Also, their phrasing (on this type of song) is eerily similar, i mean like an EXACT match...e.g., the sound of the close-mike breathiness at the end of phrases/lines. i mean like whoa. (they do both have VERY similar accents/vocal sounds before the strength of the voices comes into play -- no surprise, both being Tennessee born).
What an amazing natural talent! I wish Icould hear more from her.

she was pre-Miley. And shouldn't be compared. This chick actually has raw talent, where Miley is just taking her and her family down hill quickly.
