  • Now did they fix her with a cast? operation? I have a kitten with a broken paw. and i dont knnw what to do . the vet says it could heal by itself after 1 to 3 months,

    or she needs a 700 - 800$ operation,

And the operation isnt a 100% effective.

    What should i do?

  • @julie072 They did fix him while he was under getting his cast.

I suggest you get an x-ray and get it treated by a vet. Cost will depend on where the leg is broken - some easier to treat/heal than others.

  • @nyseiler Thanks. But all i did was make sure she had enough food and kept her cozy without moving her and she is all better now. She is walking and running on 4 legs. It heeled all by itself :)

  • I remember when my kitty Gemini got hit by a car. She broke several ribs and the vet wanted to put her to sleep, but we insisted she'd be okay. Now, she is still alive, fat, and playful. She always brings me her favorite aligator toy when she wants to play. ^^ Thank god we didn't put her down.

  • He is GREAT! His leg is perfectly healed thanks to Dr. Diaz and Dr. Weiner! He is in a loving home with his new mama and big kitty sister!!! He is soooo happy and healthy! Thanks for asking!

  • How is he now?

  • That's a pretty cat! I love the stripes on it!

  • Thanks! I know! He is as sweet as he is handsome!
