Nice use of sepia tones. Is the fact that he's a farm boy whose caretakers don't want him to go to war a nod to STAR WARS? I know BUCK ROGERS came first, but I don't know his backstory, and the fact that Buck is called "Lucas" here makes me wonder. Also, the black-and-white will make for a nice transition to the color in the future scenes, a la THE WIZARD OF OZ, which I'm sure was your intent. :)

I'd love to see this on the big screen or even DVD. They went ALL THE WAY to the source material from the 20's, it looks like. It's better than the 70's remake. I love how Erin & Gil are Buck's parents, & they're pacifists !

Way to go! That was great. Acting was fine! And very very good to see Gil and Erin together again. They still got it! Erin certainly was hot, one of my first tv crushes back in the day. She's still looks pretty good, they obviously have her made up for the part, but I've seen some other shots of her and she's lovely. And I love seeing the famous Gil smirk. Gil's has had health issues and weigh problems over the years and fought it back as much as he could. Anyway, AWESOME CLIP, MORE PLEASE!
