@stupidvid Well it is a negative story, just because Job never renounced his faith and got rewarded more children and riches than he had before doesn't make up for the children he already lost. People are irreplacable. The only comfort he had is that he'd see them again in the next life in due time. Whether or not this is the point of the story doesn't matter, it's still an important factor that can't be ignored, it's part of the reason he retained his faith.

@MrHead1972 I just realized you have not yet gotten the point of the job story or even comprehend it a bit.who did that to Job? what was Job asking?for what reason?what did God tell him? why was Job tested? and I can keep on and on.

@stupidvid who did that 2 job? the answer is god did everything but pull the trigger himself! your attempt 2 cover up gods role in this horrid story is so transparent its almost laughable. they just put a lady 2 death yesterday 4 murder. but did she pull the trigger?no she didnt but she got put 2 death because she mastermind the wholething as did god when hebrought up jobs name 2 satan and then put the rules and regulations on satan as 2 what he could and couldnt do 2 job. So GOD is responsible.

@stupidvid Well it is a negative story, just because Job never renounced his faith and got rewarded more children and riches than he had before doesn't make up for the children he already lost. People are irreplacable. The only comfort he had is that he'd see them again in the next life in due time. Whether or not this is the point of the story doesn't matter, it's still an important factor that can't be ignored, it's part of the reason he retained his faith.
