Yeah, he's got it all wrong. Put ice in a rocks glass and the pour in Kahlua. Follow with Vodka and a little splash of Sprite. Pour everything slowly so it is a layered shot. The Kahlua will naturally stay at the bottom of the glass and when you put a straw in you suck it from the bottom.

Correctomundo. Stirring is a huge no-no. Plus the point of this drink is not to be drowned out with soda. It's a build-on-ice drink so that the soda is merely a chaser, not half the damn drink.

You need ice in the glass to chill the drink, as well, the ingredients should be layered and not mixed. This is one of my favourite drinks and I'd hate to see someone try this and hate it because it is not being prepared correctly.
