I'd say it's pretty comparable, having been to both. I keep meaning to upload some Valencia vids taken from the same phone but haven't got round to it yet. There is a difference in terms of the sound, Firecrackers produce a much sharper sound the the Valenican mascleta units which are a bit more "boomy". Why not get down to London next year and you can decide for yourself?

Really, mfx1 ? I`m astonished that it is comparable. I too have been to Las Fallas in Valencia a couple of times, and it is - as you know - utter carnage. And stupendously brilliant. I know what you mean about the "Boom !" I shall certainly go down to London to see this, in that case. Ta, pal !

What I want to know is, how loud is this ? Is it anything like comparable to "La Mascleta" in Valencia ?
