where's the LEMON? This is the farthest thing from a Caesar Salad EVER! Vegetable oil? RU KIDDING ME??? Most of the ingredients and all of the processes are just wrong.
@swim2lakes Hi there, this is from our Food Director Annabelle Waugh: "Any time we call for vegetable oil, we mean any light-tasting neutral oil, which means you can definitely use light olive oil. Extra-virgin oil can also be used but will have a much more assertive flavour. You can definitely use lemon instead of the vinegar. The great thing about this version is that it uses pantry staples. But either will work well!"

I got jumped on by SAPOL's sapz for whinging about the chicken lookin green and rotten when in Hahndorf (famous within local tourism circles for its cuisine).
Also caesar salad without meat bacon bits is an heresy. If you worry about the fat just use pre-cooked bacon and water-based caesar dressing(a whole bottle has less calories and fat than 3 tablespoons of soybean/canola based dressing and taste pretty much the same). If your a vegan go with simili-bacon bits (it's all soy so it's ok for vegan).
Yeah, for better result you can use that head vise thing they use to kill cows. Or you can go halal on the seal - much more bloody but it's supposed to be more civilized than clubbing it. Also seal sushis

Raw seal meat is delicious ! You just make sure you thoroughly club the seal first so it is nicely tenderized.

Too bad you're not gonna try it. Your loss.
The best way to make this salad is tableside in a wooden bowl which is only used to make caesars salad.
Of course all ingredients have to be mixed just so, and you'll never have a 'fishy' taste.
