There were so many scenes where he showed up and she was like 'whatever'. I mean there was the knife scene, the 'i'm having a picnic' scene, she thinks he's Willoughby scene, the unwanted flowers... then as soooon as she asks if he can continue tomorrow he goes in for the kill. 'Nooo, for I must away...' 'Away? Where?!' Oh wouldn't you like to know Marianne! Then he writes that he 'expects her' to learn the new song! hah! He's got her now... I love his interpretation of Col Brandon

This is by far my favorite, movie and the moments from 3:56 - 3:58 are why I love Alan Rickman. He was able to convey a miriad of emotions in under two seconds that summed up the relationship between Brandon and Marianne to that point in the story. Just beautiful!

You know, that i love period dramas, i especially love this version of S&S. The Song you used is very lovely it matches so well with Marianne and Col. Brandon! i think that brandon and marianne are a really great couple, i can understand why she didnt realize it at first, she had the whole willoughby sitcuation and then was in denial but brandon was basically the shoulder she cried on (only in a matter of speaking) and he helped her get back on her feet and get over it. he was there for her when Willoughby was off married! hes a really great hero.

Lovely video! S&S is one of my favorite Alan Rickman movies. Looking at all these scenes in sequence makes me wonder why Marianne took so long to realize how wonderful Colonel Brandon was. He is such a gentleman and charming, too. I would have melted at first glance!

That`s odd. Becose the song I used is most definitely taken from Sarahs album (I now this becouse I have the album myself). I listen to Elizabeth Frasers version and they are very similar but they are not the same. Sarah has a more clear voice then Elizabeth. Listen your self to the two versions, you can hear the differens both in the music and the vocals.
