its ok if you tried turning it on i did many times i own a ipod touch 4g i had about 50 apps that i bought and yeah i had it on my pocket and i got wet i just let it naturally dry out i then connected it to my computer tried turning it on.....nothing so i got angry and started banging it........it then turned on so try banging it on the side and let it air out by itself :) hope this helps

@SuperBige62 Put it in a bag full of uncooked rice, for approximately 3 days, then try connecting it to your PC/laptop. It'll probably reset itself multiple times, and the touch sreen will probably won't work for 2-3 months, same goes for Wi-fi.

@StrikerStudio i left it in for about a day and a half. make sure the power is COMPLETELY turned off. my speakers weren't working very well it was all fuzzy and i took it out of the rice after a while and now the speakers are about 90% working, i didn't expect any more than that. the wifi works, touch screen works, games etc and everything so leave it there and i hope it works for you too!

So far it has worked great. It is charging fine and on. Only thing is the screen was pretty dark and hard to see, got bright for a mo, and then dark again. Seeable, but just. Any ideas? Another way to get the water out is to get a zip lock bag put uncooked rice in it and drop the ipod in it. seal the bag. And wait at least 2-3 days and it would work just fine. Hoped this helped guys!
