What I see, or more so hear is a transformation within the genre "commercialisation" to cater for their delicate ears (lol). This in the end makes more money. More often then not once a massive money maker is noticed more artist will try to absorb and in some ways replicate that style (seen not only in music). Obviously both positive and negative can come from this. Its all about $'s unfortunately.
