@MetalMonsterGuitar I used to have this CD deck. It's not the best, i didn't like the jog wheel for pitch bending as it made the music like exponentially faster if you kept turning it at a steady speed. There are better CD decks out there for the same money. The NDX-800 looks pretty tasty to me
I read the whole vinyl argument down there, and it's all nonsense. The real answe is that reel to reel tape is best. If you could spin a record player slow enough, The sound will be off and the CD will give a horrible piece wise graph. Play a record fast, and the needle will miss the groove, and the CD will be right on. Tapes are based off of magnetic position from center so it'll be accurate no matter what. Think about how odd it would be to scratch with tapes though.
OjlmaBeatzz knows what the fuck he is talking about all this technology bullshit made a lot of shit wack and wack styles of music were born due to that
ok to shut all you fuckers up the track he was playing was one i have and its already got scratching prerecorded in the track itself so hes somewhat " scratching a scratch " XD i know sounds weird but seriously he did kick it old school on this and made it sick as hell you dig ? well stop hatin - he made it sound good nonetheless right ? then he did his job go fuck wit sum1 else
i think the cd he's playing is the scratch sound. there are a few parts where he takes his hand off the platter and lets it spin and you can clearly hear the "scratching"
still takes skill i guess but doesn't look the same as scratching on vinyl
this is a pretty sick cd skratch vid. I've seen a shitload of these vids for the pioneer today and even though this was a Denon, it beat the shit out of all those 'pro equip' headz videos.
well first of all you need something u can afford, something simple and easy to use. learn off by using something simple then upgrade ur gear later when u good and know the industry. check out some dj shops in ur area, they'll be a good help. go in have a demo on a set of gear. cheers. djmrl
CDs r the fututre u fuckwitted twats!!! Vinyl - get over it already, its gone assholes and will never be what it used to be, others - by others i mean those that move with the times in the industry realize that cd mixing is a massive expansion of your talent and creativity and allows for so much more room to let your imagine flow - SO FUCK U!!PIONEER CDJ IS LIFE!!!
CDs will never be better then vinyl in my opinion but if you're strapped for cash like me and load of other people wanting to DJ then CDs is the logical solution economically. It'll be a dark day when/if vinyl dies
i hav to say i find it alot easier scratching with vinyl.. but saying that cds hav alot more possibiliteies an u can do alot more with the music..id say turntablists r the only djs nowadays who use vinyl as every1 seems to be switchin to cds....i recently got the pioneer cdj1000s an they r unreal..if cds can win me over, they can win u too..r.i.p to the vinyl..
he does play vinyl...alot better than the cdj players...he only plays with the dns shit for electronic show demos...at clubs and parties...its vinyl...sometimes serato...which he DOES have a vid up on youtube of him playing on vinyl ...for those who dont believe it
lol...yeah that is him...im his sister...and i always have to record him when he makes these videos...that and i went to an electronics show this past monday...and he demo'd the DNS 1000 for everyone...he works for denon sooo he probably knows a little bit more about the products than other people...after all thats why denon offered him a job cuz he can use any denon cdj player with alotta skill
Old Boi doing his thing. I have one of the cd players and it is possible to perform those scratches, if you know what you are doing of course. Keep doing your thang bro. REEL-1
Lol! Its him scratchin' hes no qbert, but hes come a long way since I've seen his last videos on the Denon forum. Good stuff Shy! Keep doing what you do. I crossed over to the dark side and rock the Pio mk2s, but I see your still doing your thing with the que slipin' Denons (lol) rock on bro.
Dj Dadeo
PS: His hand & fader movents match the sound to me....maybe your just a rookie dj and cant tell the diff. ???
what efect is he using. scratches like that are not possible on the DNS1000. there is a button under the platter that needs to be pressed. so u have to press on. when you press on it drags. its crap.. i refuse to believe that this person is pulling off those scratches on that cd player. the cross fader movments dont match the sounds either. im not convinced. i have used that player oodles b4 and its not good enough to do that on. it doesnt sound like digital scratching either.
hahaha your a goof why would you speed up your video....
