  • Keep your pride up girl! I have a Confederate flag, and I love the South! Black white, it doesn't matter, that flag represents ALL Southerners, and we're gonna rise again! :) Greetings from Pennsylvania friend.

  • I love the Confederate Flag, but there are some who use that flag against blacks. I use it as a sign of defiance against the federal government, plus my great grandfathers fought under it. The Union League and Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, was also against blacks, and they fly the US Stars & Stripes, the flag which flew over every yankee slave trading ship to sail the western passage.

  • I like your personality ! What a kinder place the World would be if more people thought like you do !

  • love your vid thank you

  • You know you are a very intelligent person

  • very good my friend

  • I live in Arizona, the Confederates claimed the southern half as CSA territory

  • Don't be ashamed. Heritage NOT Hate. The Rebel flag is a part of Americana. Curse those misusing for their retard racist beliefs, which they also use Old Glory and the Christian cross NOT teh symbol itself. Btw, you do know you have a goose on your head, lol

  • Glad to hear you don't mind the rebel flag. It makes me happy.

  • You are one smart young lady. It's rare to hear a youngster express themselves as well as you do.

  • Thank You For This Video ! <3

Ain't nothing wrong with having that flag . Me , my brothers , my family , and most of my friends have the Confederate Flag in our room or somewhere on our property . Everyone gets offensive because of the things they ' believe ' or what they hear from the media . You have no idea how happy I am that someone put up a video like this , haha .

  • Yeah the flag isnt racist. Native americans fought for the south. There was even a cherokee general and he was the last one to surrender

  • God bless you i wish more folks think as you did.

  • did u know that the blacks that fought were treeted the same or even better my the confederates. a union genral had to threaten a whole regement becouse they whouldent fight by blacks and this is the same north fighting for black equality

  • Man the general lee was my FAVORITE car of ALL time and i hapen to lOVE the confederate flag design, i could give a flying fuck what it USED to stand for, im no idiot i KNOW blacks fought for the confederacy, and? that was their choice. Heres mine, i like the confederate flag and thats mainly because i like the true rebel symbolism it holds for ME!! Pretty much it. I should get them both and string em up. got plenty of space on my wall. Glad hear an education has set you free.

  • Sweetheart I think you are awesome. It's a piece of cloth, not a symbol of hate.By the way I love the goose.

  • yes the civil war was about things other than slavery. but the confederacy did not see blacks as people only property it was racist it was white supremacy thats not ignorance its truth. but if you are going to burn a Confederate flag you mite as well burn the american flag more racist crimes have been committed under the american flag thin the Confederate Flag

  • @machetezone Well if it's as simple as you say then how do you explain free blacks living in the Confederacy or the antebellum South? Many of whom themselves owned slaves?

The fact is, the Confederacy stood for many things, and that includes many contradictory things, just like we most always find in history. There was not some unitary ideology possessed by all persons taking up the Southern cause regarding race or political theory. Just as the North had slave states and non-slave states.

  • My wife is black and you remind me of her. We have two great kids; our daughter is named Courtney Lee (after Robert E Lee) and our son is named Thomas Johnathan (after Stonewall Jackson). I agree with you, folks do need to just be quiet if they can't have an intelligent conversation.

  • the confederate flag turned into a racist issue cause of the controlled media being owned by jewish zionists.....

  • you are awesome

  • I see folks calling that a battle flag, actually it's a navy jack. The battle flag is square. I think you are a very intelligent lil' lady. I dig the goose.

  • @fullmag556 The Navy Jack actually had a much lighter blue color than the rectangular variant of the square Confederate battle flag. The flag she is hanging in her room contains the dark navy that was originally on the square battle flag. So it is neither the original battle flag nor the Navy Jack flag flown 1863-1865.

  • The confederates weren't about keeping slavery, one of their best generals went to war against the north coz he wanted to protect his home state from the northern fatcats

  • Quite a messy room you have there.

  • What do you do with the goose when you are not wearing it on your head????

  • @thybigballs The goose remains perched atop a lovely sampler hung on the wall.

  • @CleverGenevieve That's so not the fun answer I was hoping for. :-) Btw, what is a "lovely sampler" exactly? LOL.

  • @thybigballs Lol just kidding, my goose floats amonst a wild forest of black holes and swiling expanding universes.

A sampler 's a decorative circle made of embroidered cloth and wood... its design has a cat on it.

  • All respects to you.

  • Geese. not gooses :P

  • @nickwalco Everyone makes mistakes. :P

  • You are amazing!

  • You set it straight, the Confederate or Rebel flag is not racist and should never be equated with the Klan, although the KKK was founded by Nathan Bedford Forrest, an ex-Confederate soldier but a founder of the KKK. The flag also represents thousands of Black southern, Confederate soldiers who fought and put their lives on the line for what they believed in, The Confederate States of America!

    I love the goose!!!

  • That flag is acctully not a confederate flag it does not simbolize the Confederate goverment it is acctully a Navy flag it has nothing to do with the confederate goverment.

  • your the coolest african american ever btw you do know thats actually the confederate battle flag...fun fact :P

  • @shirleythehunter Thanks!

  • @CleverGenevieve look at her head then tell me she for real.

  • Great...racist geese...what next lol. Cool video...light hearted yet powerful point.

  • " First of all it's a goose " Love that part. Good video.

  • i just wanted to say that i am a white man at the age of 22...i am not at all in any way racist, i am an equal opportunity hater, i hate everybody equally. i fly the confederate battle flag in my house because my heritage is all southern even though i was born and raised in a northern state. i am so happy to see someone that seems to have a brain and not a stereotypical opinion on that flag. im saying thank you for seeing the light and that its only a flag, not a symbol of hate!

  • you maam are a smart person

  • i dont understand why everyone thinks its racist when its not, it represents the heritage and the pride of the south. not hate

  • i fly the rebel flag because i got 13 confederate soldiers in my family tree

and no one is going to try and make me ashamed of it

  • lol.

  • I have been born and raised in texas and know the true meaning of the southern cross. Its my heritage and I am very Proud of It.

  • I have been born and raised in the south but I know the true meaning of the confederate flag and I am more than proud to support its meaning!!! As far as racism goes, the confederate flag has nothing to do with the matter. The confederate flag is about a way of life that should be admired by all and honored forever.

  • I love that you are not afraid to show it I have one to I recmend all Blacks and minorities who are born in the south to get one and that they are proud to be ffrom the south. keep doin' what you doin'

  • i do find meaning in this flag i find haritage heartbreak teamwork and determination/willpower and i am white but i am not racist!!! my favorite picture of this flag is a couple african AMERICANS holding this flag in honer although u expressed theres no meaning in this flag ty for supporting the defence of its meaning as racist

  • Probably the most light-hearted video you'll find on the subject. Thanks for posting it.

  • The rebel flag is not rasist Alot of the people wernt fighting for slavery they were fighting for there south land.

  • watch out little sistah, they're gonna getcha.. individualism is all but illegal.. get in line, 1,2,3,4, left right left..

  • My opinion of the flag is that it has nothing to do with slavery, it stands for freedom from the northern oppression. I absolutely hate racism. Thank you for sharing your opinion and not being afraid to do it. :) And congrats on getting married :D

  • I like the goose!

  • Thanks for having common sense! I am a proud southern boy and get sick of the ignorant of our history:)

  • i've got both flags in my room and i live in Ohio with almost no southern heritage

    i like them both

  • your white boyfriend must be incredibly racist. he must hate everyone that is black because he owns a rebel flag. *SARCASM ALERT*

Thank you for not adding to the stereotype. I Hope only the best for you and your fiance

  • Thanks! And now he is my husband. :)

  • @CleverGenevieve oh, that's lovely! will you make a video with him anytime soon?

  • @MrDerby2u

Well, we've got plenty of videos with him on this channel already, including our wedding videos. And we've also made a joint channel called "CraneandGoose"

There you will find plenty of videos featuring him and both of us as well. :)

  • @CleverGenevieve Honey you are okay don`t worry about what morons say. It`s a part of history and has nothing to do with racist.

  • I subbed u!! southern herritage not hate. can you sub me back

  • You should check out H.K. Edgerton. He is a great and wise man.

  • the flag stands against govenrment tyranny it is not racist and if anyone thinks so they are stupid

  • Your a lovely girl inside and out. You are a princess. Hope your fellow is worthy of your grace and light.

  • This is exactly what i said in my Essay "You need to talk to the person before you ASSUME that they fly their flag out of racism ask most likely they love their herritage"

  • it is so hard to listen to you talk about racism with a goose on your head..lol. GOD BLESS THE SOUTH; and GOD BLESS TEXAS

  • You are Precious.. Love this video...!

  • The confederate flag is an abused symbol, just like the KKK burning a cross. You don't see anybody banning the cross.

  • im getting a lot of fucking hate from people just because i posted pic of a rebel flag on my facebook that said if u dont like my rebel flag u can kiss my rebel ass im fuckin sick of them its not what i call friends

  • seriously just sube

    amazing goose seriously

and i love that you are not afraid to display the rebel flag

the flag does not belong to any race

Blacks served and died under that flag and they are being forgotton because the Naacp does not want the public to know about the black heros of the Southern Confederacy

  • @TexasReb93

Thanks! Too bad people don't know the real history behind the flag. They'd rather get all offended over nothing, I guess.

Thanks for subscribing! I don't use this channel as much anymore. You should sub to my new channel, CraneandGoose. You see plenty more of that goose, I promise! And lots of other wacky stuff.

  • @TexasReb93 yeah, but people are learning. after growing up in the north, i was suprised to learn some REAL history. the black soldiers in the confederacy fought in integrated units too. whereas up north black soldiers were segregated into their own units. it makes a person wonder "what else have i been lied to about?"

  • this black girl kicks ass!!!

LONG LIVE DIXIE!!! of all races that are Southern!!!

  • good answers to @2dasimmons girl I wish they could know you as I do

  • Some peaple put there Confederate flags just to honor there own Confederate Heritige.

And there is nothing wrong whith it.

  • nothing racist about the flag...your brave for going against the wind.

  • Why aren't my comments posting?

  • I dunno. Did you leave a link in them? Sometimes when I'm writing comments they will not submit if there are too many separate "paragraphs" or too many "spaces" (I double-space between sentences) even if you are within the character limit. It's weird.

  • @CleverGenevieve It is weird. I have tried to post three comments and none of them have been posted but this one. Its annoying when someone asks a question and then my replies don't post.

  • CleverGenevieve: He represented his black girlfriend in a disrespectful way 2 his friends, unbeknownst 2 her. She found out during media coverage of this racial police attack and separated from him. You seem intelligent, are pretty and I hope that you are treated considerately by UR fiance. But please beware, anyone promoting white supremacy is not your friend no matter if they like having sex with you. You might want 2 checkout Dr. Frances Cress Welsing here on YouTube. best wishes and shalom.

  • @2dasimmons

Thank you so much! I also wish you well. But please, do not make assumptions on a person you have never met based on a four-minute video.

    Shalom.

  • @2dasimmons

Who are you to judge that this beautiful woman's fiance is promoting white supremacy based on little more than the fact he likes a flag that millions of other Southern people in America respect as a symbol of their regional identity...just because she does not share your skewed view of it (a view shared by the very white supremacists you claim to fight) you mock her and attack her choice of boyfriends.

Could it be the fact that HE is the "wrong color" for her in your own eyes? Humm

  • @2dasimmons You are a coward and a bigot! How dare you judge others without knowing them!

  • I suggest that you watch Zion's River of Tears: DA Rosewood Story here on YouTube. Perhaps you will rethink your appreciation of the confederate flag and all that it represents. Ditto for the N-word. Perhaps if white supremacy no longer existed and the brutality it created w/that flag and the N-word flying didn't happen it would be a non-issue. But not long ago a young black woman who looked something like you was rundown from behind by a white male just because she looked like U.

  • @2dasimmons

Hmm, I understand that there is history behind those two things and I am fully away of the brutality that these things might have represented back then. I am even aware that racism is still alive even today.

But... well... *shrug* I guess symbolism has just never been important to me. I just don't get worked up over just some word or just some flag. What gets me mad are the *people* acting or speaking in a hateful way, regardless of which flags or words they choose to use.

  • @CleverGenevieve oops, *aware

  • @CleverGenevieve Certainly, you are entitled to your opinion and it's wise not 2 let other people "push your button." But I find it interesting that white fiance would put up a flag that represents death, destruction and disrespect 2 your kind. It would seem that out of respect 4 U, he wouldn't tolerate that flag being near you. It reminds me of the white policeman who sodomized Abner Louima (black) and racially attacked him yet said he wasn't a racist because his girlfriend was black. Cont'd.

  • @2dasimmons

Ehh, he is respectful enough to know that that a piece of fabric doesn't bother me, rather than just assuming that I'll get all offended just because I have a certain amount of skin pigmentation. To be fair to him, he did ask first, and he confirmed my apathy several times, just in case. I love him for really taking the time to know who I am. :)

I do appreciate the stimulating debate. Usually people post stupid things. You actually present intelligent arguments. I like that.

  • @CleverGenevieve I am relieved 2 know that your fiance did consider your feelings and I hope that the (2) of you have peace and joy together in a mutually respectful relationship. More power to you! I would like 2 share however that ALL symbols whether pieces of fabric, wooden or metal objects, signs, etc. represent a spiritual manifestation that we cannot see but exists. Like a word the object itself is nothing, but the spirit (read energy) behind it is powerful whether/not it's acknowledged.

  • @2dasimmons for one the flag has been misused by the klan and other hate groups. The Confederacy never fought for Racism. They fought for freedom. Like the tea parties now. Like 1776. And there were black soldiers too, free blacks thousands who fought for the south. For their home. That flag was only carried by the military it didn't represent the Government in any form or fashion. There were separate national flags. Stonewall Jackson had 3,000 black troops.

  • You don't act like normal black folk. You a mulatto?

  • @ThePatriot1776100

How does "race" act? I act like myself. :) I am myself.

  • I sometimes wear goggles. Not for any real reason, just because too! XD

  • I really liked what I saw here:-)

  • Your room is messy

  • This reminds me of when I had a white hoodie sweatshirt but then I realized that when I put my hood up, the top kind of came to a point.

I walked home in the rain with my hood down =(

  • @oprahlovesme

Darn that sucks... well that was a smart decision. Who knows what kind of hate might've come your way because of your uncanny appearance.

  • The Austrailian striped wombat consumes seven pounds of leaves every day.

  • @m96c40 That's awesome!

  • oreo.

  • @veeseee128

Those are yummy. Especially the double-stuffed ones. :)

  • Of course the historically challenged see the flag as "racist." They are victims of their inferior education.

  • its all true

  • I like the goose

  • THANK YOU!

You said it all, you are sooooo beautiful and so wise!

  • I LOVE YOUR HEADBAND!!!

  • I like how you said, "Shut up!"

  • I think that people react the way that they do because there actually happen to be many who hang a Confederate flag in order to make a statement. I'm not saying that it goes for everyone, just saying that's probably why you'll get that sort of reaction from time to time about certain things.

  • Keep up the good work.

  • I really like your videos :) I really like you, you are lovely :)

  • wow you are true inspiration to the entire human race, I like that sayin, just because, that's so awesome. There seems to be no hate from you at all, and that's great, more people could benefit from watching this video.

  • makes perfect since me being from alabama yeah the heart of dixie i know plenty of people that fly the rebel flag and none of them happn to be racist, and the rebel flag was not the official confederate flag not even one of the three flags of the confederatcy. and most dont know that the war was not about slavery only 6% southerners owned slavs. and 90% of slave trade was ecouraged by africans and arabs and many blacks also owned their own slaves. all n all great vid made plenty of since keep up

  • GoOsE! lol

would that be counted as a hat?

  • Dunno. I count it as a decorated headband.

    :)

But then again, there are some hats that can only stay on with the help of a headband..

  • Just because :P

  • ur bloody amazin

    u spk truth

    keep up d vidz

    i can rel8 btw :)

  • You are inspirational chick <3

  • there is nothing wrong about being unique
