  • i loved my old tonebender...i had one years ago...still miss it...might have to build one of them...especially now they go for silly prices too...cheers .

  • Olá Bartolomei,

Gostei do som desse tone bender, interessa fazer um rolo nele?

    abraço

  • @rodrigolanceloti

Obrigado pela proposta, mas nào me interessaria me desfazer de tal pedal, ok? Há alguns clones muito bons por aí, espero que consiga o seu Tone Bender! Boa sorte!

  • I am sorry, but using this pedal with zoom is absolutely crazy!!!

    Sorry again.

  • Don't worry, be happy!!! Hahahaha...

I can see your point, but it's a reasonable crazyness. This unit is not so tone sucker like its predecessors, but I agree that with an all tube amplifier it could show all of it's potential. Who knows I may do it in the near future...

    Thanks!

  • Alex, Are both pedals running under battery supply or wallwart type B+?

The Fuxxaround turned out great. Are you using NKT213s in it? Around 4:00 it seems to get right along side Bob's early Crimso tone. World class sustain and growl.

Amp simulator! Sounds pretty f'in believable to these fatigued ears...Thanks for all your great work and kind sharing of it on the various sites we both frequent!

    Noel Grassy.

  • I used batteriy on the ancient Bender and a wall walrt poawer supply for the Fuxxaround.

I bult the Fuxxaround as a NPN version of the original, so I've used a mix of AC127 and 2SBsomething.

Yes, the clean sound is very thin and you can see how beefy those pedals sound.

  • how does the parker p30 play? is it versatile? im hoping to get one! sweet video to!

  • If you like a new viewo to strato type, get one!

  • Great comparison.

The new one sounds very good. But the old one is more raw and open to my ears.

  • Well, they share some similarities but they are distinct pedals. But regarding the sound, I can't agree more with you. so I like both for theyr "unicness".

  • My name is Alex Frias, no problem.

    I am from Brazil.

I think the price is high, but it's impossible to say a precise value. The re are some very good handmade clones around.

    Good luck!

  • ma questo Fuxxaround è in vendita oppure è di tua creazione?? Il tone bender è tuo??

Io lo vorrei comprare per avere un suono alla page....

Me lo consiglieresti? Cosa hai usato per la prova ( Ampli, chitarra )

    Ciao

  • Sorry but my grand didn't teach me enough of her beautiful italian as a language!

This pedal is my version for a very rare fuzz used by Robert Fripp in the 70's, Baldwin Burns Buzzaround. The Tonebender is mine and it's great too, but I don't like the idea of gigging with it.

I did for my own use and like it a lot. On this demo I've used a Parker P-30 (strato like) guitar with Lace Sensors and a ZOOM G2 clean amp simulation, recorded directly to the board.

    Thanks for the commentary.

    Ciao!

  • Sorry, but your surname "bartolomei" give the sensation that you are italian!!! Where do you came form??

I'm very interesting to buy a "sola sound tone bender" like this yours, but I want know how much is it the right price to buy it.

I've received an offer for buy one from '70 years but the seller ask to me 290€: is good or is too much??

    Thanks for all

  • Great pedalS!!

  • Thanks for the kind words!
