My great grandfather fought on D-Day and the battle of the bulge. He's my hero he survived the war and died ccomfortablly in his bed. God bless all the people who fought and sacrificed for the preservation of liberty. Thank you.
I found at least 1 picture of Germans. Good! Remember the death from the sides of Axis too. Young German soldiers died for Hitler's insanity. R.I.P all soldiers from all countries!
I find it sad that this video only has 6800 views, yet if Charlie Sheen were in it, it would have 6 million. If only people would spend more time acknowledging those who matter, and remembering their sacrifice....this world would be a better place. Beautiful collection of images and music.
My grandfarther fought WW2 1939-44 he fought in dunkirk was evacuated back home and stromed the beach of normandy(Sword beach) He was injured in the battle for Caen(This may have saved his life) His 2 older brother both died north africa 1941 and italy 1943 R.I.P All those brave people who fought for there beliefs.
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile, This day shall gentle his condition; And gentlemen in England now-a-bed Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.
@Jagonath Shakespeare wrote but it happens with Henry VIII at Agincourt... In other words... You're damn right all the way. Regards pal... Have a nice week!
How very lovely. The song is very haunting and works well with the clips. The clips you found are wonderful. My Grandpa ran away from home and joined the war WWII He was a sailor and he survived I bet he'd love this video.

@Cavelson That's the speech the English king gave before Agincourt, wasn't it? Or was it Shakespeare? Or both?
