This album was constantly in the CD changer in my house. You were my Dad's favorite band (and one of the few he liked that my mom could tolerate). I love listening to your music again now that I'm in college and finding new meaning in music that's so familiar to me. I saw them open a reggae fest at Red Rocks in - I guess it was 1991? Sean took this "stance" behind the mic, and broke into the opening riff of this song. I was totally blown away. I'd never heard of them before; and I'll never forget that performance. I had to buy the album on cassette, as I didn't have a CD player in my car (yet)... ...listened to it all the way back to Chapel Hill. So for me - the Samples are the mountains, with the rain and the sunshine slanting in sideways...

Learned who The Samples were while at Colorado State U from 1990 to 1995. Never got to see them live, but grew to love the music. Band was very popular in Ft. Collins.

I met these guy's at a rush concert in Montreal Canada, Real nice guy's.

Would have never heard of them unless I was at that rush show. It was actualy inthe rest room, Thank god I had to take a piss at that particular moment otherwise I would have never heard this great band.
