  • self involved babbling for self promotion

  • can somebody please explain to me why the disciples after being told to baptize in the name of the Father,Son,and holy spirit.baptized in the name of jesus christ.

  • you cannot talk about, read about or intellectualize something to know it; you have to Be it to really know and fully understand it

  • Whoa. Philosophers are queers? And because togas resemble dresses, no less.

  • "own belief system."

  • @BelieveandtrustJesus

Even if I granted to you that your statement was true, my case would still hold true. Following your reason, then babies dying would be a joyous occasion and we would celebrate their death since that baby would be in heaven. Furthermore, Christians would have to agree that it is morally correct for atheist to abort as many babies as possible, since they would be sending those souls directly to heaven.

Yes, my case still stands on the ignorance Christians have of their ow

  • I find it amusing that Christians will dismiss the baby-killing, genocidal acts of god from the OT, yet accept the morals and eternal torment teachings of Jesus from the NT; and then they turn around and tell you that they are the same person.

At least when you died in the OT, that god didn't harass you anymore.

  • Amen!!

  • So...is the Bible gonna come down from heaven at the second coming in Rev. 19? Second coming of the Bible?

  • This preacher has apparently not met the Word of God, Jesus Christ. Jesus is not a book.

  • Jesus is God ,He is the WORD !

  • here's some of the word: " stone those who entice you to worship other gods." one of my all time favorites.

  • %10 of the Bible is from GOD. Like This one.

Jeremiah 8;8-How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.

    And ,This is from Jesus.

    Mathew 15;8-9

8-This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

    Isa 29:13 Mark 7:6

9-But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

  • @BelieveandtrustJesus Just remember that the Bible was SPOKEN before it was WRITTEN. Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. "Blessed is he that readeth, AND they that hear the words of this prophecy..."

    You can't hear a capitalization.

  • I didn't know this:

God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and now the fourth member of the Holy Trinity: God the English Printer's translation of various scriptures in several languages by numerable authors with or without the esoteric books depending on the year printed. Whew. French and German bibles are not God by the way - too Continental.

  • It is very sad that your Trinity does not have Jesus.

  • "The more you read your Bible, the more you know God."

So I guess illiterate people are just screwed, huh?

  • this guy needs to study and pray more and talk less.

  • Lol, what a wackjob. They should show this on the TV so people don't think this guy's a real Christian.

  • if u really trully follow god, he will reveal things.if u trully have a relationship with him u WILL know that the bible is gods word.he speaks through it, how man times myself and my wife will get a vision backed up with a scripture to confirm. this man speaks the truth, yes when u trully love god u will trully fear him equally.a child with a good upbringing will trully love his father but fear him also. he will fear the consenquenses but fear letting his father down.

  • "Jesus is the Word!! The Bible is God!! The Bible is Jesus!!"

    You are an idolater. REPENT!

P.S.: Idolaters do not get to heaven... sorry...

  • then nobody's going.

    sorry.

  • Comment removed

  • Can someone please taze this guy?

  • Biblicists are usually guilty of bibliolatry.

  • This guy is nuckin' futs.

  • Wow, just wow. This guys is just absurd. I wish this was an SNL skit.

  • "for god so love the world that he gave his only begotton son" (JESUS) note he did nit become jesus.. "that whosoever belive in him shall have life" John 3:16..

jesus was with god from before creation.. thus the reason god said to his son "let US make man in OUR own image and likeness..

  • jesus is called the word in many parts of the bible.. god and jesus r two seperate beings.. there is god (the father) & god (the son). Joh 1:1-2 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God" now lets take WORD out & replace it with Jesus. In the begining was Jesus and Jesus was with god (his father) and Jesus is god (the son). many ppl belive dat god (father) became jesus to die for our sins. dis is wrong.. the bible say

  • The Bible did not become flesh and dwell among us. This is heresy.

  • Exactly!

The guy asks, "How do you call somebody Word?"

Well, if it is a book, then how does a book become flesh? Besides, John had only started hist gospel, so some of the Word (or your interpretation of the Word) had yet to be written, but John writes about the Word as preexisting ("in the beginning"). How can John literally write God?

  • Excellent point. The verse he is talking about is refereing back to Jesus himself not the Bible. Logos is what people Called Christ. The Bible is called the Writtings in Greek not the Word.

  • What a venomous and horrible misunderstanding of John.

  • Actually, Jesus' title, "Word" (Gk. Logos) is found in Greek philosophy. God inspired the Apostle John to use this terminology when writing his gospel account.

  • Agreed and Christ is the Logos but the bible is not refered to as the Logos and never was. The bible is NOT Christ nor is it God.

  • Thank you very much. God speaks of His word as being written in Scripture, but Christ is the Word.

  • You said, "the Bible is not referred to as the Logos."

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Greek word for "word" in this verse is "Logos" just like EVERY other time the phrase "word of God" is used in the NT.

    You are wrong.

  • Once again the Bible was not around when Christ was nor when Scripture was written. The bible is refered to as The Writtings or Ai Grapha not Logos. The bible is NOT God nor Christ. You using something to mean the Bible when the bible was not around when it was written.

  • Happy the vid is playing again..thought it was taken down for some reason and would be against that 100%. I think the problem your facing as i watch this vid again is the fact you have no undersanding of the Greek or Hebrew and only go by what the english says. The Word is what Christ is..He is refered to as the Word of God the Logos. The bible itself is refered to as the Ai Grapha and came after the Scriptures. cont...

  • Scriptures...I would though like to ask you one question though. If a person does not speak or read any english at all then what language should they learn to understand Scripture? English or the Greek and Hebrew and why? Honest question hope you can answer..Thank you and God Bless.

  • Um...that was not my comment.

  • He was talking to me I belive.

  • You didn't read past verse 12 did you :p

Hbr 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things [are] naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Hbr 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession.

Reading more than one verse at a time is a good idea if you want to actually understand scripture you know.

  • @sanderson1611 If you believe that the Bible is God, then you should have no trouble believing that the Holy Eucharist is God!! John 6.

  • Lastly the Word used in the verse you quote is Logos which is what Christ is called. The verse is refering to Christ not the bible. This is a fine example of why you can't use the idea of Sola Scriptura when dealing with translated works since there are many mistranslations and untranslatable phrases.

  • You are right, as ever. No heresy here.

  • This sermon was great. :)

    Thanks for sharing.

  • shitotora1979

  • Great sermon. many flimsy "Christians" will not like this one.

  • Great sermon!

  • yeah, that was great :)
