I was actually crying when I first saw this scene. Hatori is my favorite character, Kana/Hatori is my OTP, and I just died inside when I watched this. I mean, I can't blame Akito (especially if you've read the manga and you know how messed up she is), but it's still so sad. :'( Most heartbreaking scene EVAR.

She is afraid of people leaving her because her father died and her mother brainwashed her all of her life. She smashed the glassware unto the ground, and the shard hit him in the eye.
