Umm Ford has a 6.2L as well so what's your point?...That 5.4 is a pure mod engine. Have you seen the Shelby Code Red prototype video? That's the same 5.4L putting out over 1,000hp. Sure a 6.2 is a little bigger of a V8. Ford couldn't fit that engine in the current chassis, but I"m confident in that 5.4, it's a hell of a motor.

I like the Corvette as well, but I'd rather have a Viper over it any day. I fail to understand why GM put the 6.2L in the ZR-1 instead of a 7L like in the Z06.

We're running the factory 6 speed with a Mcleod RXT twin disc clutch kit. So far so good. We're gonna try and put her in the 8's with the stock tranny. We'll report back if anything breaks before then.
