  • I agree with most of his conclusions. However, he fails to mention that the business users share a portion of the blame as well. IT is mainly a facilitator of ideas and needs from business operations. If the business does not "have their shit together" the facilitator can never be sucessful.

  • Great video from my namesake! Totally agree. Fads are bad.

    We suffer from them all the time where I am and northing changes.

  • Another awesome video from John. I so agree with this whole fad thing. Unfortunately they are usually here today and gone tomorrow. Why people follow them I don't understand.

    There is a very simple solution, as you say - Model the right thing FIRST!
