  • I wish I remembered my sign language xD

  • LOL I dont care, if I gotta use it I'll go straight to the men's! No 2nd thoughts about it! Hey I could go outside! Its that better? Um,, no. So now especially since I'm preggers, yep its the mens

  • I completely agree with you as I never thought of it that way. Good observation skills. haha =p

  • Haha, Agree with you, whenever I need to go to bathroom and someone is in female room, I would just go in male's to use the bathroom since it have a lock.

  • Where I work the women outnumber the men 10 to 1. There is one area that has 2 private restrooms -- one for women, one for men. I don't hesitate to go into the one marked for men if the other one is occupied. Once I started doing that, the other women did the same. You were very kind to help that poor woman out!

  • As a woman, I must agree with you. I agree, also, that we need more time in there. Let's get real, we have more clothes to undo, we have our periods, we have makeup, we have all this stuff to deal with, we just plain take longer. I get FURIOUS at ballgames when I cannot go into the men's room which has NO line but the ladies' line is 10 deep. I think public 1-toilet restrooms should be gender-neutral. What's the problem with that? Nothing.

  • @RiverBirch1967 You are absolutely right, women tend to have more time than men which is unfair. Private restrooms for gender are just silly. I am very curious why they set up that way, because of the law? I don't think so since I do see unisex private restrooms at some places. What else can it be... just tryin to be polite or is it because some people complained? Hmm....

  • Had to use a men's room once and NOT a private one; it was a really busy public one! The women's was being cleaned and I was desperate. Luckily there were some other women who came in too. There were dudes at the urinals talking to us... kinda weirded me out. It wasn't a bad experience though, just different xD

  • @YouveBeenTerrorized Ha ha, now that's quite an interesting experience! Like I said to others, I couldn't careless if I see a woman in men's restroom with multiple stalls. There are some gay bars out there that are unisex restrooms (not private), men and women share and nobody care. It was very cool and... interesting. By the way, I like your user name. :-D

  • I will go into a Mens room with multiple stalls if I really need to. I go into a private stall with a lock and I just don't go to the sink to wash my hands. I'll go to the women's room for that. That way they don't think I am trying to get a peek at them at the urinal. I really don;t think its that bad. I wouldn't care if a male went into a womens stall if it was the other way around. I mean as long as the person is not just hanging around the bathroom looking for something.

  • @Myella229 For me personally, I don't care if I see a woman in men's restroom. I can imagine some of others feel uncomfortable because there are perverts out there, tho ha ha. Having private restroom, it should no whatsoever affect anybody, that's weird.

  • I'd much rather have unisex bathrooms. It makes things much simpler for non- binary gendered folks as well.

  • @sherrydeanne Very true, got that right.

  • Women remember to leave the toilet seat down, but men very often forget! Plus, there's the stench that deafrocket mentioned. AND, what if I forget to lock the door and a WOMAN opens the door while I'm still doing my business? She might laugh me to scorn!

  • @Ray77063 #LOL - "She might laugh me to scorn!" - now that's funny!!

  • I do use men's when women r taking forever BUT often when I go in men's, often it stinks in there so maybe thats why even private restroom shd be separated? lol

  • @Parropia Hey hey... women do stink, too!!! Hehe... :-P

  • I have never thought of that!! thanks for sharing,.. yeah if its one toilet and one sink,.. it should be all unisex.

  • I have a question, I'm not deaf so I've always wondered: What should I do if I were to meet a deaf person. I can't sign and I wouldn't want to just assume they can read lips and I wouldn't want to whip out a notepad and write what I'm trying to say. What should I do? I've just been wondering this for awhile.

  • @whythelongmoustache I'm deaf and lip-reading is faster but not preferred because we do miss some of the words and had to guess sometimes. Would you like that? I don't think so. Hah. ;) Beside that, just be yourself and go with the flow. Some of us prefer lip-reading, some of us don't.

  • @whythelongmoustache I've never met anyone who was opposed to paper and pen so it's always a good option. Most people just use their phones though :) The sign for lipreading is really easy, so it's very easy to learn that one and ask, as well.

  • @whythelongmoustache Glad others answered your question. :-) I would say just have phone ready to type or paper/pen will do if that is easier. For me, I personally prefer when others ask if I can read lips rather than making an assumption that I can. I mean I can read lips depending on accents and all so when they ask, I will know if I can or not, ha ha.

I agreed with Parropia by going with the flow. :-)

  • Geo, That's depend on if really bad to getting urgent go bathroom so bad.. The female can asked to manager for exempt without violated of policy. For example happened to me I worked one disabled developed. they have right to allow unisex bathroom if urgent. or wheelchair. I think there is nothing wrong with that.

  • @matseattle I am appreciated about your vlog to message.. There is nothing wrong with that.

    Margaret

  • @matseattle I don't see how that is violation or anything because it is private restroom meaning you are alone locked in a room doing your own business. No one will come in and go, simple as that. So the whole point is if it's a private restroom, why is gender even necessary? That makes no sense, nothing more or less.

  • @seekgeo Long time ago, I watch 20/20 show and say that many women have a problem with men's plenty of stall. They do have enough for urinal wall and four toilet. One women got trouble with the law.. she won the case because all of men were not very many in Rest Area during summer time always more people than unusal in season. Court say not matter if women have go bathroom so bad. Due to urinal infection or bowel movement issues. Many doctor say the rest area

  • @seekgeo and here is harder for female urinal is holder longer than male's short urinal in overnight.. it is quiet confused.

  • Yeah I agree with you hon! I have seen Family bathroom which is not a big deal with locks too.. I guess some people have preferences or some are modest?

  • @BeachFairy83 Ha, who knows.. that's the thing I never get it. I notice places out there does have unisex restroom which is nice but still too many private ones based on gender. O.o
