There are water drops stuck all over the lense. Plus by the time it gets to YouTube it looks like 12 FPS... I'v got an SD card camera but so far I can only play the videos directly from the camera to a TV. You can make DVDs out of them if you want but it looks like a PC choking drag. B, Australia.
"IT'S CRAP" mine lasted only 2 months. A week befor I scratched it on concrete so Sanyo said thay would only fix it once thay said it my fault ha! All thay did was dry it out, thay fixed nothing it always leeks so i pulled it apart & found that the main seal is to big/long so it will never seal rite also the camera button doesn't work now & the zoom in/out & the menu buttons is almost the same work "IT'S CRAP"
@boing264 I have a similar sanyo camera and i put a 25mm adapter ring in it with superglue. If u do this ushould be able to put a fisheye on but im not quite shure about the underwater
is it good if i even use it above water ? like when it winter , i dont go to the sea , can it be like a normal camcorder ? shoots a good quality above water ?
it performs poorly in low light conditions but it can be used as a normal camcorder most of the time, although you can get better quality for the price buying regular camcorders.
Please help, i have the same camera as you but when i upload it, the quality is pixilated and horrible. I set it to record in HD. Also, i cant view it on my pc besides with quick time which makes the quality look terrible. Please help!!!!!
i am really considering getting this camera, but i would use imovie 08 to edit the videos.. i didnt know that it makes the quality standard though. is there a way to keep it from doing that?
sick video man! I was planning on buying it just for that reason! I want to take good underwater surf videos. How's the quality when shooting in the ocean? If you have any more of these underwater surf shots, I definitely wanna see em
The quality is surprisingly good. I do have some more videos but I don't have any program to edit them except for imovie 08 which automatically converts the HD videos into standard quality.

Have yu had any issues with this camera as "brodyhickling" said? Like the sand in the camera it self, or water behind the lens or anything like that.

no, except from updating to imovie 09. But the camera does bring some software to edit the videos in HD
