America should increase there taxes on import product, like all the useless junk... They should invest locally. Lower company taxes. Educate the nation on proper nutrition and exercise...banned the refrigerant R-22 in air conditioning, which destroy the ozone for 100 years because of the chlorine molecule. Bring back there troops from Afghanistan... Look at the type of health care Canada have. Invest in green technology. Educate people to consume reasonably... Show some respect to other country

@RyeinGoddard Many people provide for their families by working hard in the oil field and mining coal. It's obvious that millions of people would be unemployed and the economy would crash without these industries. Oilfield companies spend trillions of dollars in taxes each year . Did you know the oil and coal are still used in the creation of electricity in a power plant? I agree we need renewable energy, but in addition to oil and coal.
@cfalkun24 As a society we have to provide new jobs for these people. Fossil fuels are a detriment to our world and frankly it is a crap technology. Even if you don't believe in global warming you can believe in a better more sustainable way to get our energy. There is wind, geothermal, tidal, and solar energy. Everything else isn't needed and there have been studies to prove this. The people who work in mines should work on becoming turbine techs.
It still takes a large amount of fossil fuels and nonrenewable resources to generate more ecofriendly means of creating energy. You can't create energy without materials such as metal and plastic. Metal is not a renewable resource and recycling will only do so much. Plastic is made from petrochemicals which means it is a by-product of oil refining. I agree with you on needing ecofriendly solutions to obtain energy but wind, geo, tidal, and solar still need the oil industry.

There are other types of "plastic" we can create from all sorts of things. Metal can always be melted down and reformed. The reason lobbyists don't want renewable energy is because it can't be controlled to the same degree. There have been numerous studies that has proven harnessing just the wind power from 3 states would supply the US.

In my opinion you need a higher minimal wage and high taxes with top rate 70% on the rich, combined with an international robin hood tax and a forbiddance of speculative operations.

It's obvious that millions of people would be unemployed and the economy would crash without these industries. Oilfield companies spend trillions of dollars in taxes each year . Did you know the oil and coal are still used in the creation of electricity in a power plant? I agree we need renewable energy, but in addition to oil and coal.

Even if you don't believe in global warming you can believe in a better more sustainable way to get our energy. There is wind, geothermal, tidal, and solar energy. Everything else isn't needed and there have been studies to prove this. The people who work in mines should work on becoming turbine techs.

It still takes a large amount of fossil fuels and nonrenewable resources to generate more ecofriendly means of creating energy. You can't create energy without materials such as metal and plastic. Metal is not a renewable resource and recycling will only do so much. Plastic is made from petrochemicals which means it is a by-product of oil refining. I agree with you on needing ecofriendly solutions to obtain energy but wind, geo, tidal, and solar still need the oil industry.

There are other types of "plastic" we can create from all sorts of things. Metal can always be melted down and reformed. The reason lobbyists don't want renewable energy is because it can't be controlled to the same degree. There have been numerous studies that has proven harnessing just the wind power from 3 states would supply the US.

I'm happy I'm not an us citizen so I don't have to vote. Ron Paul's foreign policy is great but I doubt that liberal economics helps us in the crisis. In my opinion you need a higher minimal wage and high taxes with top rate 70% on the rich, combined with an international robin hood tax and a forbiddance of speculative operations.

These dialects are not mutually intelligible. A person who speaks Mandarin will not understand someone speaking Cantonese. Huntsman should know this.
