I got my snap on smile 2 days ago and the teeth are too big, its bulky, huge over bite, it is very loose and worst of all it digs into my gap and hurts my gums! Im so angry over this whole situation and going to make it my goal to warn everybody about this product if I dont get what i paid for! I don't plan on buying this product, but you should understand it's not about just "looking pretty" or having exaggerated features. I assume you have nice teeth. Many people do not, and for those people it can be debilitating. Not being able to smile when you want or having to change the way you speak just to hide your teeth is extremely stressful. These people can't express themselves freely in social situations, in their careers, etc. It affects EVERY aspect of life.
@Revolution2pointO Because hardly anyone can afford the real deal any more. LOL ! I had Snap-On Smile for almost a year now. And though I would like dental implants, SOS is a nice, cheaper alternative until I can afford it. Implants can be troublesome too for some people who have them.

Thease are absolutley a waste fo your miney. I was able to get my dentist to refund my money. They look like costume teeth and feel like you have chewing tobacco in both your lips. It creates a 'lisp'. Avoid this product unless you have really really small teeth. Poor quality all the way around.

Ok, after researching this for Several hours I've come to find there are Lots of videos of people happy with their snap on smiles and who are talking clearly. On the other hand I can NOT find ONE video of somebody who is unhappy with them. All I see are these made up youtube accounts of "People" who claim they look terrible. Every video I see of people with them they look Great on them. And the people are extremely happy in the vids.

They did SUCK for the first two days but if you work with them, they're awesome. The Snap on Smile looks AMAZING. I have really gross teeth and I am getting a full mouth restoration (for $30,000) and have these for immediate effect. I only have the top ones. If anyone wants to see before and after pictures I could send some.
I paid $1500 plus dentist fees for taking the impressions and it took about two weeks to get them.
And you can eat with them too! I have to avoid bananas though, the suction pulls them right off.

The Imako Teeth are guaranteed. Anyone unhappy can return the product (unlike the Snap on Smile), so I suspect you are a competitor. I have an A+ rating with the BBB.
i think there are variations in materials used. the snap on lab in new york uses "proprietary" acrylic. some labs use some other cheaper material. i got quotes 750 to 3500 for either upper or lower.
If you search Imako and go to the bottom of the "how they work" page, you will see a side by side photo of the Snap on Smile and the Imako product. The Snap on Smile is like a bleaching tray and impedes bite closure. My dentist says it could cause TMJ. You have no difficulty closing your bite with my device and thus, can speak perfectly.
i need a lab to send me alginate and trays. i'll take impression, send it back. seriously want to avoid dentists. acrylic, false teeth, a few hooks. keep it under $100.

I totally agree with ilianexy. I got the upper unit last year- the teeth are extremely bulky. They make you look like Fire Marshall Bill (Jim Carey's character on in Living Color). I was hoping that this would be a good option but- they have many more kinks to work out.

I want him to show someone talking and eating with the snap on smile, is impossible! He is a really nice dentist with a great idea, is just not ready for the market yet, because is useless, mine is in the drawer for almost a year with no use. I know he will have lots of patients complaining. I will uplaoad my video with them so u can see what I am talking about!

I have them. Cost me $1,500. They are molded plastic, painful because is really tight, you cannot speak at all, you cannot eat anything with them, they did 3 impressions to get it right none worked. They look very unnatural and gigantic, just ridiculous. I want my money back!

My daughter is also a NY model and has them on all the time.
The new design is great, eat, talk, just do anything and no going to know but the person with them. You get a $30,000 smile for around $1300 dollars and you keep the $28,000 dollars in your bank. I also know a lot of people in the media have them. It will change your life and your smile.

Since Dr. Bukk, above, has his own competing dental appliance company (IMAKO cosmetic teeth), his comment may be less than credible. I have none of these products, but find them intriguing - more than that, can't say, as this is clearly a marketing video.

The Imako teeth are made with two layers. Up front is an elastomer (mix of rubber and plastic) and the back layer is a low melt thermoplastic.

as long as it's not toxic...but, i just got home from another dentist or 5, and i wish there was something on the market like "avoid-the-dentist" or Imako, but also more like a combination of "invisaline" and "snap-on smile", which is strong enough to keep teeth from shifting, can be used like a retainer, can be done at home with alginate and trays. i've found one lab on the web but contact and about links are dead. dentists hate when they get "avoided".

They are only interested in pushing their self serving agendas and fighting the Denturist movement. The ADA suppresses Denturists and Hygienists, and unlike the AMA, will not allow foreign trained dentists to practice in the United States. That is why a restoration costs about $20,000. I hear sad stories every day. The Ga. Board tried to stop me but I beat them. Search "cosmetic teeth" before purchasing the Snap in Smile.

dentistry is not affordable in the states because of ridiculously high fees greedy dentists charge, all because ADA doesn't allow foreign licenses? i don't think so. some areas are so saturated with dentists there are now more dental offices than food places. despite competition it doesn't get any cheaper. same goes for medicine, legal services, car repair. allow foreign licenses in the states and you get worse than 3rd world dentistry.

Imagine-greedy SOBs think their fees should pay for the $30,000 x-ray, $110,000 Cerec, $35,000 tx rooms, $1,000 handpieces, x-ray, sink, & property taxes, the multiple licenses, insurances, six figure leasehold, employment comp, payroll, matching fica and on and on and on and on after eight years of gawd awful expensive school & leave something for themselves. How rude of them! They should go get a another job so you can get dentistry for free! After all, you "deserve" it.

you're one of them. who said "free"??? i said not affordable. is it only the dentists' fault? no. its the government. some dentists charge 50-300% more than others, regardless of location. is it my problem schools, rent, malpractice, equipment are expensive? i don't regulate healthcare. tell it to the government. in some first world European countries people do get free dental care.
