you can shoot down an ac130, not with your primary weapon though.

No you cant shoot it down with a primary weapon because:

1. The range is too short and ac130s dont take damage from bulltets

2. if it takes about 20 mags from the ACR, the ac130 timer would run out before that bud

@mitchtop nope, no it wouldnt take 20 mags the ac130 surprisingly only has 1000 health. Also its not the range thats the matter, really all the guns have "infinte" range but the ac130 flys over the ceiling of the map.

I would say six because it gives you the ability to turn fast without going out of control. I also find that it helps you to knife and chase targets when aiming down you sites. I recently went back onto CoD4 and my sensitivity was really low and I did shit. I turned it up and BAM! 21 kills 2 deaths.

The game is all about what you want as far as multiplayer goes... there are a total of 22 primary weapons so you choose whatever you like. :)

Err no cos you get 5, pred two guys, get four more and chopper gunner and then youve got your nuke - its piss easy

and i doubt you can go a game, get a nuke and end up with 0 deaths because you get a suicide when the minuteman detonates - you basically restrict yourself to getting 25 kills, a non-noob would carry on until they die and get a fresh killstreak - thus dominating the game entirely. I got 46/3 yesterday with two chopper gunners, 41 killstreak - wouldnt have got that with a nuke eh??
