the cape works like a reflector shield (I.E. pit) except it works on people, too. if there's, say, samus's laser coming at you, and you use the cape at the right time, it is reflected back!

It is to be expected. Dedede's air speed is horrible. That is why he could not grab the ledge.

It owns Dedede, but not many others. That's a CPU after all. But good video.

Actully it owns Matakinght, pikachu, luigi, ike, possibly ness and lucas, and a bunch of other people. And it reflects projectiles.
It owns just about every character except for floaty ones like Kirby and Pit. Metaknight can get gimped by it in a few situations.
But the cape does own a lot.
