Critics bashed it cause they expected to see a tragic love story between Michael and Selene, Michael to become this unstoppable killing machine following his transformation into a Hybrid considering its build up throughout the film, the plot being ''a mess'' and at time not making any sense or that several of the character needed more depth and exploration need I say more? Personally my only problem with Underworld is Michael losing to Viktor I felt it ruined the ending and was just confusing.
don't be hesitant. keep in mind it's not your standard fare action flick. the sequel is much better though. The plot itself is interesting, which led me to buy this.

don't be hesitant. keep in mind it's not your standard fare action flick. the sequel is much better though. The plot itself is interesting, which led me to buy this.
