  • Using emotional appeals to get us to buy a phone -_-

  • I have a question for you guys............I have internet from AT&T and i want to cancel mt internet service,is there a cancellation fee??

this is really important if you guys could answer this question............

  • There should be a movie made with this plot. Of course, not meaning the phone, but something along the lines of, a last second decision changes someones life forever with the flashbacks in the movie.

  • the president's dad in the beginning of the commercial is my high school chemistry teacher! let's just say teaching wasn't meant for him

  • I'm pretty sure the phone you buy will never have an influence on your children becoming president of the USA or even a car dealership and on that note There's allot of other Cell phone companies with allot more calling power then these jokers that will get that text in just as fast if not faster IF ANYONE can get a signal in a subway station as it is so I don't credit All Talk & Trash for there good luck AND I had AT&T. I was lucky to get a text in 3 days from up the street if at all, thank U

  • I like this commercial. Brings back memories of when I was finishing 6th grade. Good times...good times...

  • i have a question and wondering if anyone can answer it. i have a 3G iphone 4 and i want a 4G samsung infuse. will at&t charge more for a 4G plan?

  • Seems creeper-ish ....

  • mybe he has more good life in future..if he didnt chg the ticket

  • @limzx123 Um yeah, It reversed to a flashback on how the president was born. That was the beginning. Though total bullshit but the beginning.

  • So uh...what would happen if she was already married or something? xD

  • Reminds me of summer of 2010.

  • I hope the train crashes

  • just found a very cool mini cell phone jammer.

google :- yapper zapper phone jammer

  • AT&T's morale is so bad within the company, i and many techs sabotage the cables knocking customers out of service on a regular basis. they treat us like animals. daily negative meetings about how we didnt meet MSOC standards. tracking us by GPS asking why we stopped at a gas station at 812am and didnt go straight to the job. I HAD TO SHIT YOU IGNORANT FUCKS!!. i thought for years that the military abused me, but after AT&T, i was wrong. we all get our payback on a regular fuck you AT&T

  • best cell phone deals > wirelesscellphonedealers com

  • Fucking stupid commercial.

  • Teacher touch the future

  • I always felt this ad was fairly stupid, myself.

  • Why does this remind me of donnie darko

  • LOL switch to ATT...you will become President!!

  • this is the same guy in the Motorola xoom commercials lol

  • hey the guy looks like jared ryu

  • bet it's the same president that will get us into a nuclear war

  • @tehscrubshow or make peace

  • the guy is cute XD

  • wew

  • I bought that phone because of this ad, the "fly-err" ad, and the Luke Wilson March Madness ad...I better become the president

  • Watch the 57th President of the United States get assassinated, resulting in the US declaring war on whichever nation was responsible, ultimately starting World War III, and then a random AT&T representative goes back in time in a DeLorean to steal that guy's phone to create a parallel reality and save the world!

  • @0180917 ROFL that's brilliant!

  • AT&T's internet is terrible. Don't get it, it may be cheap, but it's STILL not worth the money you gotta pay for their crappy internet service.

  • wow i remember seeing this commercial last year & it really made me think that theres those EXACT same moments in life that determine where you stand with a person as of this very second. if it never happened, things would be completely different. ahh i wouldn't be able to not know any friends i have now.

  • stalker!

  • favorite commercial ever

  • Nice video

  • I like this commercial its pretty funny and cool

but i dont think at&t is that fast i have at&t i dont think its that quick but I havnt compared it other phone services cause I dont know the speed of the other cell phone services

and can you really buy a ticket through your phone?

  • who is the guy in this video? he looks so familiar!

  • fuck you at&t, you piece of shit..I wish I can make a decent phone call without getting dropped!

  • this is the cutest ad in the entire world of advertising. So adorable!

  • @rainbowmuppet you are retarded and easily amused

  • @siliconsurf aw, thanks! you're so sweet! and mature!

  • I use T-Mobile...guess that means my future kids will cause World War III, then.

  • best. commercial. ever

  • Who says it has to be something good. Maybe they had a son and he was the next Hitler. THANKS A LOT AT&T

  • THANK FUCKING GOD HE CHOSE AT & T.

  • I wish my Mom and Dad were married that way.

  • While the proximal cause of your son being president may be the purchase of an AT&T phone, the viewers here are missing that it only exists in contradistinction to the higher level distal cause: he thinks with his penis.

  • @Dylnuge

    EPIC WIN

  • You see, if he was with the verizon. He would have missed that train, marry an transvestite and adopt a son that would turn to be the reincarnation of Hitler.

  • too bad AT&T has like the worst service

  • AT&T IS RUINING MY LIFE. Mobile communicate is all many people have to communicate with distant elderly parents and I can't call or text them because of the poor service AT&T provides. FUCK YOU AT&T. Sincerely, Brian. Palos Verdes, CA

  • If only AT&T's 3G really worked that fast. In reality, that train would have gotten to it's destination before he got that ticket changed.

  • SCREEN IMAGES SIMULATED

  • you guys do know that the 57th president of the U s A is going to be brown right? and verizons better

  • @nevermoonawolf Wow.....it's called black dumbass.

  • @RAVENFREAK221 wtf are u talking about i meant brown if ur referring to obama hes black and he is our 44th president... well i couldnt expect any better from ravenfreak so ill reward u for ur attempt at asserting urself good job

  • damn that dude really want some of that pussy lmao.

    simplify.att.com/videos/att-co mmercial-finalllll-with-audio? fbid=XRZIURRNlRz&wom=false

    please vote for me!

  • I don't know what the hell that guy's using but AT&T should be thankful for the iPhone's popularity.

  • Comment removed

  • Had to be a TRAIN, good luck doing anything last minute by phone for a damn plane ticket!

Although, more hot babes in airports for sure.

  • I like the concept and the ad, but this commercial makes me so mad cuz AT&T data service is so sluggish! If this were to really happen, that dude would be waiting forever just to pull up a web page.

  • whatever I love this video its so cute!!

  • I love this commercial. Think what you want, but my boyfriend and I have made this OUR commercial.

  • this is why you pay attention to your children, cause it is a possibilty.

  • I am obsessed with this commercial <3 its madd cute

  • This is clever writing by the marketing dept at AT&T to sell the Blackberry Torch as a step towards iPhone. It appeals to the younger adult crowd (early 30's) who have just become parents themselves because it depicts a "proud of my child" image, while it is able to simultaneously able to appeal to an even younger crowd (early 20's) because it depicts a "fall in love" image. Thus it is able to capture both the work-oriented crowd for business and the younger, social networking pop-culture crowd.

  • He rushes onto the train only to realize its actually a dude.

  • @MGDevo

The guy is clearly a nut, he fells in love with him in a wig.

  • @MGDevo lmaoooo

  • @MGDevo maybe that's ok with him too if he likes to pack that fudge

  • @MGDevo its clearly a woman and in the future they have a child together who becomes the president therfore your comment doesnt make any sense

  • @IcyOnPurpose2 Anti-Joke Chicken much?

  • the 57th president of the US is probably not going to be a white male.

  • all the comments about 'oh if i get this phone my son will become president' don't make sense. that's not the point of the commercial. the point is that the phone has many capabilities, i guess, and as a result, "anything" could be possible. perhaps not on such a grand scale, but it can open doors.

i personally thought this commercial was quite creative. maybe not realistic, but it got me thinking and it kept my attention.

  • Hate this commercial... this would never happen

  • did anyone else notice that he didn't age until he was like 40ish.... Quite the logic again:

buy an at&t phone and you will not age..

  • the actress is so hot. anyone know her name?

  • this fool don't know where the heck he's going does he?

  • way to go dude, you knocked up your sister

    ATT, where incest happens

  • Verizon is better hands down, only fools stick with att

  • Hahah a train is a great place to meet someone...

  • stupid fucking beaner president, no thanks.

  • @Zyrog ignorant racist asshole. fuck off

  • @koyfishie9 - that makes for at least two of us

  • This should be a condom commercial

  • Barack Obama is the 44th president, and his term won't end until 2012. So the earliest conceivable year that the 57th president could start his/her term is 2064. If the man in the commercial is 25, then he's at least 79 at his inauguration (assuming no one gets re-elected by then) and his parents should look more like 110 year-olds. Otherwise, this commercial is OK.

  • @heartlesswizard

    Obama = 44th. A

Amount of presidents to reach 57th is 12 from 45(president after Obama)

Assuming all presidents, due to political instability, serve one term (4 years)

    12 presidents serving 4 terms = 48 years.

2012 + 48 years = 2060 the smallest duration possible for 57th president to come to power.

    Child conceived 2010, 48 terms till 57th + 2 years from 45th pres. = 50

    He would be around 50 and his parents can be 50 + 20 or 35 = 70 to 85.

    Sounds just about right.

  • @KiKuLuVaNimejApFreiK Yeah, my bad. Didn't realize that the prez at the end was the son.

  • @KiKuLuVaNimejApFreiK I would thumbs up, but my computer is stupid and wont let me. :Thumbs Up:

  • @KiKuLuVaNimejApFreiK damn thats alot of figuring out I would figure it out but Im a bit lazy to do all that well done but it all depends if the next presidents serve two terms or one term but you figured if they all just serve a term

  • @youronebiggestfan It was a calculation to see what is the minimum age the 57th president can be assuming one term each to rationalize the age of the son in the commercial. What you have pointed out is exactly the flaw of the commercial, only if all of the presidents serve one term is the age of the son in this commercial possible. I can not imagine 12 presidents going by and not at least 30-60% of them serving a second term.

  • This is the best ad AT&T has ever done - who write it?

  • Pretty interesting commercial. Wish I could have the guts to do that...

  • this takes me back

  • Is it weird that I tear up everytime I see this commercial?

  • @koyfishie9 Yes.

  • Lol all you haters are stupid, it's called the butterfly effect.

this commercial is imaginative and maybe even deep just enjoy it for what it is

  • girl dont talk to him he's gonna get chu pregnant. lol.they expect your whole life to chhange over a phone.lmfao.

  • one concern about the 21st century are nuclear weapons which have been used in war since 65 years ago. we don't know if whether this weapon will be used again as an attack to civilizations. the future is very anonymous.

  • @majumdaa only 2 nukes have been ever used in a war. nuclear war with another state is not as likely as people may think

  • i mean we don't know what the 21st century holds for us. anything could happen in the near future such as a nuclear attack on a country or the start of another world war. i fear that there could be a future world war or future terrorist attacks on western countries. i wonder how our future generations are going to survive this century alive.

  • @majumdaa by learning our past, and making sure we dont relive the same mistakes.

  • i don't know why... but my eyes start welling up EVERY TIME i watch this.

  • lol media.. really now..

  • I wish relationships really started like this.

  • i would lol if they put the pregnancy before the marriage

  • Comment removed

  • one major flaw: will the usa exist during this time period? think of it, there might be a nuclear attack or a future dissolution of the usa. so, would you agree that the usa has a chance of surviving its sovereignty for the next 70 years or will it lose its sovereignty? you don't know what is to come for the 21st century.

  • @majumdaa : You're taking this ad way too seriously. It's just suppose to be like a humorous wow effect. And what's with the pessimism? Why not think that with new technology and discoveries happening at rapid pace, the USA of tomorrow might be better than the past? Anyway, the point is that this is just an ad.

  • @majumdaa as Doc said from Back to the future,"The Future isn't written yet, so make it the best." As I see right now, the U.S has survived for 200 so years and counting, only problem was slavery which nearly divided the U.S. Nuclear Attack is possible but I seriously doubt it if U.S is currently in collaboration with the major powers of the world in solving problems.

  • this commercial is so cute!

  • Scott Patterson...?

  • Yeah especially with AT&T!

  • Quite the logic:

Buy an at&t phone and your son will one day be the US President.

  • @HiddenWoodsMedia, yeah right I agree nice catch for the ad. I cannot imagine right now a 57th. President being elected in the future. I am not pesimistic per sey but certainly the current reality limits that potential.

  • @HiddenWoodsMedia You have it backwards. The logic is, "If you're the future US president, then your father had an ATT phone."

  • @HiddenWoodsMedia You wish.

  • @HiddenWoodsMedia Better: Let your pennis guide your life and your son will be president

  • @HiddenWoodsMedia, It's just a simulation showing that anything can change in a matter of seconds. Jeez.

  • @HiddenWoodsMedia bullshit, buy at&t and never amount to anything because you can't make a god damn phone call without getting dropped!

  • This video just makes me think of all the guys who have hit on me on trains. I didn't marry any of them. Actually, I didn't even call any of them, and none of them got my number. But cute premise anyway.

  • @jxtx10 None got your number because their were none asking, that never happened. Cute fantasy anyway.

  • that old person looks like her face got flattened

  • he would have probably gotten a force-close at changing his ticket........

  • I looked up this video simply to leave this comment... I am so FUCKING sick of this commercial. It never really made sense to me, and after seeing it 8 billion times I'd say it's time to stop playing it.

  • Waste of good filming on a dumb idea.

  • this would never happen. his crappy at&t service would never have worked that fast and he would have missed the train.

  • this is such a terrible commercial

  • god i adore this comercial <3

  • anyone got the name of the song?

  • yay so if I have att I will marry a hot lady and my son will be president!!!

haha I know thats not the meaning of it but that would be cool!

  • @PReSH35 fuk u bitch hahah

    Fcking dumbass

  • BRING BACK THE $30/month UNLIMITED DATA PLAN!!!

THUMBS UP IF YOU LIKE THIS!!!

  • i like if they gave you a data plan for 20 bucks @XBOYZ45

  • is this kid changing races as he grows up?

  • @knitgirl20 No his son becomes the president in the future

  • Comment removed

  • I find this rather creepy.... This guy see's a chick he wants to fuck, so he envisions their life together, that probably won't happen, and changes his ticket. Can you spell S-T-A-L-K-E-R!

  • @crtrhnsn noooooo.... he doesn't envision it, it's what happens in the future, duh, thats what really happens

  • That's one hott hunkk of Mexian mann.

  • 0:18 I MASTURBATE TO THAT WHEN MY GIRL IS AWAY..HEHEHE

  • its halarious i dont like at&t but i love this commercial!!! :)

  • Lmao, does this mean I will be the next president if I have this phone (I actually do have this phone, just got it today :D ) ?

  • @8uD3 me too i bought it bbecause i saw the commercial and because it looked nice=)......i wonder if i will be the president sice i have this phone ....my dad is a senator im in college to do politics !!! mega chance!!!! mayb my dad will b prez!!!

  • @animezlyfe no ur son will be president

  • @8uD3 lolz i hope=)

  • @animezlyfe there is ONE ....ONE president and for this to sell to population....please not everyone will father president... this ATT shit is BS

  • thats his son thats the president

  • @Darayaray Oh yea

  • So basically if you don't have the crappy AT&T network, you might miss your chance of being president.

    Huh.

  • at&t is so fucking full of themselves

  • does anyone know the name of this song?

  • It looked like the guy was the one pregnat lol

  • Um I doubt he wud get any signal in a metro station >.<

  • @CandianSuplex lol..true story

  • @CandianSuplex

Actually Metro stations have wirelles cell Range extenders even on subs

  • This commercial ROCKS!!!

  • @rockstarlove112 Wow get over it? AT&T is bullshit it even said screen images simulated. So YEAH I will get mad that at&t is ripping off people and getting more money for their shitty reception. I'll comment if I want to its america im not listening to what you say just to get people to like your stupid comment.

  • The chick has time for him...like she is not busy tweeting or texting on her phone???

  • I want to see a ripple effect commercial of all the dropped calls I had with AT&T.

  • i hate this commercial so much...-_-

  • This commercial comes on WAY TOO MUCH!!! Hottdamn, I change the channel everytime it comes on and BOOM... same annoying ass ad on the next channel.

  • Anyone know who does the song?

  • The spot is great, but some of the employees they hire are horrible! If you're ever in Frisco, Texas drop by the AT&T store there off of preston road and ask for a ANGIE SALVA. IF you can get her off her own phone she'll lie to you and rob you and then tell you her mistakes can not be fixed by her area manager sarah o'hagen because if she calls sarah she'll "get in trouble".

Worthless ripoff scum is what Angie is. Fair warning!

  • Personally, I love this commercial! You people are taking it way too seriously. It only means that anything can happen at any given time. But go ahead, waste your time arguing over a COMMERCIAL! :) Have fun

  • Remember, none of this would have been possible without AT&T - whose phone displayed here could not possibly do what it showed it doing, due to AT&T's purposeful gimping of their early android devices. Was a sappy piece of crap ad.

  • Comment removed

  • that girl is PRETTY!

  • What a self-important couple, thinking their child is going to be a future president!

  • This could not happen,by the time of the 57th President of the united states of america, foreigners, even if they have babies in the u.s.,the child will not be a citizen of the u.s.

  • The couple on train Look like Brother & Sister

  • lolz at these pathetic nerds arguing below me! its fucking funny!

  • @hereford619 what are any of you saying just think it goes foward in time and back look it went to when he was president to when he was lilterley running to be president to when it was his sons birthday to when his child wasnt out of the mom back to when they were married then to when they were very great bonders the it skipped foward to the present when it showed his encouter so that made it seem like it was a imagination so the phone changed his ticket so that his futere would become real

  • @535xman So.. Jrmafiamarkass was right? The 57th Pres will be a Mexican! Oh damn!
