  • who the hell checks your gun for compliant parts anyway. im not replacing perfectly good parts so that some asshole can get more money out of me.

  • Do the followers work OK? Any problems with them?

  • sweet.

  • How many AK47 mags do you have?

  • @semiautoriflelover Hmmm 10 or 11 I believe, how many do you have brotha?

  • @MrSKSkill 7-30 round mags and 1 10 round mag

  • @semiautoriflelover Ah you need sum Five rounders brother

  • @MrSKSkill nope I don't have any 5 rounders, the tapco 10 rounder is nice though if I want to shoot from a bench or prone.

  • Yes I have the short tapco grip on the tapco quad rail and it works great. I just had to mount it as far foard as i could.

  • @crash44tatic Wow even with the short one!!! Mine seems to fit

  • @crash44tatic I mounted mine almost as close to the magazine as I could, it works! thanx bro

  • Dont you get free stuff since you make video's and donations.

  • @bulldog10mm I wish brother! If Nutnfancy's not getting free stuff, then i'll never be...

  • I have the short the long hits the mags when your trying to load.

  • @crash44tatic The long does interfere with mag changing?! Damn...I had that same problem with an AK that had a wooden foregrip handguard. Do you have a rail system?

  • Good luck with your parts, I hope that stock works great.

  • Watch black1705f video about replacing trigger group, I gave him a special tip. You lift up trigger springs then wrap a twist tie or rubber band around them behind hammer so they don't snap your hand or fingers.

  • @semiautoriflelover I've watched it, and am definitely planning on replaying it on queue the whole assembly! It's great info man! I might try to make a video on the trigger install, but chances are there will be to much cussing so..wouldn't use it haha

  • I got some ammo today from cheaper than dirt they did'nt send me a bumper sticker.Whats up with that? lol!!! Love getting shit in than mail !

  • @bulldog10mm You got fucked man! Lol Nah you didn't. It's so fucking random when CheaperThanDirt send a sticker.

I agree. Getting shit in the mail, even though you paid for it, something still makes it feel like christmas!

  • I don't know who's idea it was to make a magazine worth 3 compliant parts...wtf.

  • @black1705f Is it? I think it's one, the trigger assembly is 3, I might be wrong. I haven't payed to much attention to the 922r before! Thanx man!

  • @MrSKSkill Man I just looked it up...items # 18 through 20 its some bullshit (1) Frames, receivers, receiver castings, forgings or stampings (2) Barrels (3) Barrel extensions (4) Mounting blocks (trunions) (5) Muzzle attachments (6) Bolts (7) Bolt carriers (8) Operating rods (9) Gas pistons (10) Trigger housings (11) Triggers (12) Hammers (13) Sears (14) Disconnectors (15) Butt stocks (16) Pistol grips (17) Forearms, hand guards (18) Magazine bodies (19) Followers (20) Floor plates
  • @black1705f If you have a threaded barrel it's 6 parts you need to change, with non threaded barrels like mine it's 5 parts you need to add. trigger is 3 then grip and stock. For threaded barrels just add a US made muzzle brake.

  • @semiautoriflelover My AK's have only 9 Russian 922r parts...3 of which are the magazine so 6 are in the rifle itself. So in theory I can add one more foreign part and still use foreign magazines and be in compliance. At this point I really don't care : (

  • @black1705f I talked to gun company lawyers and they can't find one single case where a private person was busted for this 922r.

  • @semiautoriflelover Some people claim that the 922r doesn't really apply to the end user only to the importation and selling of the rifles. Don't think I would want to be the first but a lot of AK parts have no stamping on them anyways.

  • @black1705f With his rifle there is no way to tell when it was made, zero records are in the US anymore from Norinco, his markings could be a very late 1989 build so it could still be on the fence for preban.

  • @black1705f I've always wondered that...there are American Ak parts that count toward 922r that don't display a origin.

  • @semiautoriflelover I talked to Ironwood Designs, and they said that though there has never been an arrest case, they will ( and have )FINED the shit outta people.

He also said kiss that weapon goodbye forever, you just won't be convicted.....lame

  • @black1705f I crumble, 922r isn't cheap huh?

  • @semiautoriflelover Shit man...I forced a slanted muzzle brake on my MAK-90 that I had bought from the gunshow. I can't take it off, there is no way in hell I'll get another back on with those jacked up Clinton Threads...it isn't American...so I need 6 parts

  • @black1705f I'm going to thank you for this list again, b/c its great and I can't remember if I have already! I'm printing this! Thanx Black1705f

  • @MrSKSkill magazine body, spring/follower and floorplate all count as 1 compliance part. yes the mag is 3.

  • @SNIPERSTEVE420 A Tapco AK Mag Counts as 3 922r compliant parts.

  • @black1705f 3 parts for a magazine is funny, it helps. Some guy on a forum was going nuts saying my AK was illegal then I told the guy that mags count as 1 piece, all my mags have at least 1 part that is US made, I have ten round mags that are 3 parts, then my grip and trigger parts are 4 parts.

  • @black1705f I know right! I thought it counted as one

  • @black1705f That is the best part 3 parts for mag, then just change trigger for 3 more. lol

  • I hate that 922r Compliance bullshit, it takes away the nostalgia from imported AKs!

  • @makun16 I know Man, I really like my Mak-90 Original Piston...Also the sweet Mak-90 original Double Hook Trigger. I would rather not have to pay more to make my rifle less valuable! Thanx for the comment Brother!

  • @MrSKSkill The easiest way to try to preserve the look will still maintaining the required number of parts is to replace the trigger group, muzzle brake, and piston or pistol grip. That is if you have a foreign made AK with non US made receiver and barrel. I found a 922r compliant parts calculator that has helped me greatly. Check it out. thegunwiki"dot"com/Gunwiki/BuildAkVerifyCompliance

  • @makun16 Damn Straight I like that! Yeah I do want to keep it "original" per-say. I'm about to order the parts for the underfolder. Thanx for the great link!

  • @MrSKSkill No prob man! You gonna mod yer mac 90 for an under folder stock? From putting together my Romanian under folder, I can tell you that they take a specific rear trunnion also from what I have seen, no two countries under folder are the same in terms of different trunnion design.

Oh yeah, aimsurplus . com has smoken deals on new drums for $55 for one or $50 each for two. They also have buy 10 new and sealed Bulgarian mags for $80 if you order 10.

  • @makun16 Shit man, see this trunnion stuff is messing me up! TheAK47nut said I already had the trunnion in my rifle, he say it in one of my vids...I was hoping b/c I have the Angle/Slant Cut receiver, I imagine it would be a bitch to find a rear trunnion for my MAK-90!

At the moment I'm still under the impression that If I purchase a Chinese underfolder parts set, or Romanian Parts set, it will install right onto my My mak-90!

  • @MrSKSkill the trigger assembly is one part, the hammer/spring is 1 part.

  • I have the tapco fore grip on my waser 10-63 and i love it.

  • @crash44tatic Right on man, I can't wait to get the Quad Rail and foregrip on mine! Do you have the Short Tapco grip, or long?

  • very nice

  • @pjicleanair420 Thanx Brother for the positive feedback!
