@gurkenhamster thanks! thats awesome man, im glad you like the variety. i will always try to make different kind of videos hopefully with a lot of variety in the drum ideas. im fortunate i think to have people check out my videos regardless of the style influence. but i understand some people like some approaches more than others which is fine. the next series will have a good balance of things too.

@NYTROOPA write? im not sure i understand, its great you enjoyed the video though :) this was all improvised. kyle's playing inspired kind of "open" ideas and i tried to use variety in the ideas. but it was all improv. i did 3 takes, this was the second one. all were different lol.

@drumgroovemusic he's backing the music more and you are more soloing around the song - sometimes, in my opinion, that doesn't fit.

But it's your style and there are not that many drummers out there, who have their own style of playing.

so keep it up ;)

@audhen1 thanks! um i agree and disagree at the same time lol. i think cause its for entertainment online i played more notes than i usually do but i still thought the take turned out ok. its all good though for personal taste not to dig it, i respect that and i like thinking about other perspectives. vadrum has great facility with all the chops he plays over the top of the music. but for me he doesnt groove at all, its more technical than with feeling the music. 100k people love him though. :)

@Gen5444 this is a semi re upload. i re formatted the split screen visual. tried to improv the way it is displayed. so it is different to how it looks on kyle's channel. i think the side split seems to work out better. someone commented awhile ago that they thought side was better. a few others agreed. so i do listen when people suggest things :)
