I hated the lava part D: I always died my friend played this level again a few months ago I was with him and his cousins when we got to the Lava part we kept yelling when he wasn't going up and he eventually hit the lava, lost his sheild and died DX we were literally screaming the house down XD

That level was way too long for a Sonic level. 4:27 of constant movement? Geez. And with checkpoints so far and few in between... seriously, what happened to having short acts in these games?

Some levels can be traversed in less than 3 minutes, but not a lot of them.

The "shortcuts" are basically skipping large sections of a level by means of either a glitch or making uses of a Team's ability at a certain points, but this level is pretty much straight foreward with no major skips.

Actually, now that I think about it, there's usually only one path to take in this game, isn't there? Sonic 3 & Knuckles had really huge levels as well, but most of it was split between several different paths. Personally, I think it would have been a better game choice to create a multitude of paths and make the player intrigued to try the level again instead of forcing them to jump through hoops almost constantly.

Sonic Heroes had an Xbox release and XBox 360 was also was first to get that Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) release.

The Dreamcast games, well they basically got re-released.

I have finished the entire game with 120 emblems and all "A" ranks actually (it's not too difficult once you get the hang of it. I planned on doing a speedrun for Sonic's story, but I put that on hold due to superb frustration...

Some of the levels in Super Hard Mode are quite a challenge though. Maybe after JGR I'll do some.
