Silly question, but when I did this, it looked good... until I sprayed it with hairspray! It went from great to terrible in seconds! If we need to put product in, what kinds should we put in? My hair can't hold curls very well... :/

Go for it! My hair's way shorter and looks good curled, just be careful- if your hair's shorter and you use a curling iron you might burn your neck a lot, I do.

you can do the same with medium length hair by getting your hair damp about 80% wet and making 2 buns (or signons) and leaving it to dry overnight! It gives beautiful volumised curls! <3
