i know exactly how you feel, my mom did that to me, i lost my job, my home, dropped out of college. i lived with my girlfriend for a year and i lost her too, moved back to my mom's. then she kicked me out again when we got back together. i'm 20 now, still jobless, and i'm trying to go back to college.

excellent and like the sound of your Yamaha, they are class pianos :-) one thing i would say and this has nothing to do with your playing, i don't think the melody is suited to piano only the accompaniment, i think so anyway.
