When ever I hear this song, it makes me think of being in a small town sitting in the local diner for breakfast. Sounds like a song that someone would play on a jukebox. I was 10 when it was very popular, brings back good memories.
I lived 7 miles from South Whitley, Indiana in a farm community known as Tunker. Janie went to Whitko High School at the same time I attended Columbia City Joint High School. Janie started her career like so many "Greats": SINGING IN CHURCH!
When living in Indiana a number of years ago my girlfriend and I would often drive over to South Whitley, where Janie is from. Neat little town. Thanks for putting this on. Great song.
