The most fundamental task for American people the next year is to not let Obama to be the next President. If American people will fail to do so, Obamacare will be one of the least problems of this country.
The US media kept saying that Canadians and British love their HealthCare program. But the reality is that the ones that can afford to are rushing here to the US to get medical care and attention cause the waiting time is so looooooong and their country is too broke to fix them!
My neice goes to the University of Texas and asked for a good website to research her economics class assignment on why the U.S. Government should provide its citizens with health care. I referred her to several great websites including Dick Morris.com. Her paper stated the U.S. Constitution's purpose is to promote the general welfare of its citizens, not provide for it. She got an A. I've sent her your video too, thanx Dick!
Great insights! My daugther told her economics class at the University of Arizona that it would be cheaper for the employers to pay the fine than to pay for insurance under Obama Care. She was laughed at by professor until my daughter sent her the portion of the health care bill that proved it. No one reads the goofy bill, and no one seems to bother too. This professor made the class read the bill. I sent this video to her to show her she was right. Thank you.
It is unbelievably sad that a University Professor has such little knowledge of the laws, and/or current events. Almost as sad as the new legislation that we are all forced to live with.
I think that Dick's analysis of the consequences of Obamacare is correct. However, he should have started the discussion with the premise that Obama wanted a single-payer system, as part of his Socialist/Communist agenda. But, failed to do so through Congress and he's doing through the administration of the bill by forcing employers to drop employees and insurance companies to quit offering coverage not attractive to them. That's the real cost of Obamacare: Freedom & economic disaster.
The false claim to come by Obama is that if employers do abandon employees to the Health Care Excanges, he thinks that he will be able to controll costs better. Which is a joke, government never controls costs better than a for profit business. But, the government will begin to look at ways to trim costs, and the biggest easiest cost to trim would be the amount of coverage that you get. Ask your doctor if they like the reimbursement he or she gets from Medicare or Medicade.

What also needs to be said is that employers (I am pretty sure of this -- Dick correct me if I am wrong) also will no longer be able to deduct the premiums of the health insurance. If it was not in the Obamacare plan, than it is in the works as a way to "cure the budget deficit".
