Really really appreciate you doing this massive effort to show us this. i have been working this song out for some time, and sure the chords you play in the beginning of this are not correct, listening to the record slowed down, it sounds more like a Amaj6 (similar to d major shape but with root A) going to a shape with the 6 flattened, then to the chord you finish on D9 (or whatever you call it)
also i would look at the run down just after to the Gmaj 7 is a D#/Eb before the G#-G not F#
