@MegaKittycat13 We will never forget that day either...the heat that day was unbearable. This year has been terrible too...so many people are dealing with loss and hardship...with the bushfires, floods and cyclones. My heart goes out to everyone affected by them.
@MegaKittycat13 Sorry for the late reply...Cat, thank you so much for watching and for your nice comments. I hope you are all ok in W.A!! Best wishes Deb
@shawent Thanks so much Sharon...it's still hard to believe. These bushfires happened two years ago today....and now a large part of the country is under water!! We've really been hit hard by these crazy weather patterns.
i still remember that fateful night, i was in seymour, right next to the kilmore east bushfire, at night the sky wasnt even dark, it was orange, i saw a man get burnt to death on the side of the road, i could do nothing to save him, i will never forget that night
@4lifeaussie We will never forget that day...the temperatures were so unbelievably hot and we were breathing in smoke 50 kms away from the fires. I can't imagine what you went through and the horrible things you saw that day. I felt so sad and the song I wrote came out of the grief I felt for everyone who died or who lost someone that day. None of us will ever forget or be the same again. Deb
If you know anyone who's affected by this in a large way, we all pay our dearest sympathies and love to them even at this point in time. Yours sincerely, Adam. OXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX from everyone.
@APH1991 Thank you so much for your kind comments on our video.I'm so sorry for the late reply as I didn't see your messages had come in. We will never forget that terrible day, and even now memories of it fill us with sadness. It is wonderful to see the communities affected are rebuilding.
@DebsFavouriteThings and you're right that little Koala really touched our hearts. R.I.P to all those who lost their lives that day, and our heartfelt sympathy to those they left behind. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our video, they are much appreciated. Deb & Georgia
Still to this day it's hard to comprehend the amount of damage, loss and sadness that this most horrific of events brought to every community especially the likes of Marysville, Kinglake, Clonbinane, Flowerdale and Labertouche.
I live not even 25k's away from Kinglake yet I could see the ash that engulfed Victoria.
I personally wasn't affected by this but had some sort of a link to this monstrosity that was Black Saturday.
@Alice01230123 thanks so much for your comments. Best wishes to your father and all other firefighters who do such a great job trying to keep us all safe.
Its so sad the Awful event is just tear worthy and is completely upsetting and my fathers a fire fighter so it is even scarcer. I feel for those in this natural disaster.
sorry, I mistakenly added a comment that did not have to be in this movie. So I delete it. And this film is unique. I read about this tragedy, yet in the web. Beautifully placed and would never pay tribute to more such tragedies.
That was very touching. Sorry that happened, so many hurt and affected. It is such a shame when disaters happen, and they seem to be happening more often. It is very heart wrentching.
A wonderful tribute. Sincerely hope the survivors of this tragedy are okay despite the ongoing pain of lost loved ones. Best wishes to all of them, from Brisbane Queensland
This is a wonderful tribute. I know it was a terrible tragedy. I remember when I was a kid, we had bruch fires everwhere one summer. I am sorry to hear the loss lives. God bless , Rod
wow deb as another firefighter that fought these fires on that day I have to say that song to this video clip moved me to tears it is just a beautiful song.
We can't thank you (and other firefighters) enough for your tireless efforts in putting out the bushfires. I can't begin to imagine what you all had to endure. We will rebuild, but we will never forget that day.
Very Sad Tragic Day,,,Beautiful Touching Tribute You Kids,,,,Very Moving,,,,Excellent My Friends,,,555 Stars,,,,Into My Favorites,,,,,,,Peace,,,,,,,Dean.
wow a very moving song and one that I would like to buy. As for the clip well as a firefighter who fought the fires it made me cry... Thanks for such a great clip and fantastic song...
Thank you for your kind comments. I wrote the song with my daughter Georgia who was 12 at the time ( the original song is on her channel (tessy58). It was a way of expressing the overwhelming grief and sadness that engulfed us that weekend. The words and music just poured out of us. Down the track I'm going to try and put some of Georgia's music on itunes, so please stay in touch with our channels (sub or friend). Thanks again to all the firefighters such as yourself for all the work you do. Deb
Beautiful Composition and Tender Vocals. I have no tears left today.

I thank you for this beautiful video and I give massive props to Georgia for adding her vocals to this.
Sam The Koala was most definitely the embodiment of this.
I echo your sympathies to the families and victims.
This is a reminder of just how harsh the weather can be and how it can affect so many people whilst simultaneously connecting people to one sensation.
