You have such a nice sound! Bravo!!! The only thing I would watch for is sometimes your "O" vowels are so rounded that your lips keep the sound from resonating. Let your teeth act as little sound boards to keep the sound forward. That analogy worked for me when I was trying to break that habit lol.

you are quite good. however, I would advise singing some art pieces, as opposed to broadway pieces. your voice is beautiful-and yet, you sing in the throat. the style you sing in would be fantastic in turandot or die fletermouse.

Lol, I'll take that as a compliment! Part of it may be that I was TRYING to copy Audra at this point, but you'll notice my voice is much rougher and unpolished and well, generally not as good as Audra's. I will be re-doing this one in the future though:)

Really good!!! I love your voice. And Audra is the best voice teacher, I learned a lot from listening to "Ragtime." I also have her album "Build A Bridge." I love the fact that you take your videos as if you're performing the actual scene from the play. Like what Jenny said, you should DEFINITELY should put yourself out there. Many people could study for years and they still wouldn't be as good as you are NOW. :)

Ma'am, our school is doing Ragtime, The Musical right now. You and one other person has EVER been able to play the part of Sarah (well, at least could sing as well as she did) and this is absolutely beautiful. I really want to check out some of your other video works now. This is absolutely amazing. You and that other person are the only two that also can make me cry when listening to this song. Hmm. Your expressions and emotions are excellent, but like other people, I'm getting the feeling you're lip-synching to a different performance. The lip shapes of the vowels don't add up in several places. It's nice anyway though.

I know you will probably delete this, but I do enjoy listening to your videos, but I have a hard time beleiving you are not lip synching to Audra in this one, you sound so much like my Ragtime Soundtrack.

Lol, I'll take that as a compliment! Part of it may be that I was TRYING to copy Audra at this point, but you'll notice my voice is much rougher and unpolished and well, generally not as good as Audra's. I will be re-doing this one in the future though:)

and the reason im saying this as a reply is to comment on something you said. I apologize if i frustrate you becuz you've probly heard this before, but you have a great voice, dont try to sing "like" someone and dont compare yourself. its your voice, not audrey's.

Once again... wow. You have such great emotional depth and you're always in the moment during your performances. You don't get stuck in your head which is a great asset because a lot of people are too concerned about messing up to REALLY act a song. I would love to see a newer version of this now that you've been working on your belt/mix voice a little and get some chest in there.

Really good!!! I love your voice. And Audra is the best voice teacher, I learned a lot from listening to "Ragtime." I also have her album "Build A Bridge." I love the fact that you take your videos as if you're performing the actual scene from the play. Like what Jenny said, you should DEFINITELY should put yourself out there. Many people could study for years and they still wouldn't be as good as you are NOW. :)
