i tried drano, liquid plumber, boiling water, trisodium phosphate, vinegar and baking soda-none worked. tried a snake auger- couldnt get it far enough down the shower drain pipe because of pipe bends (P-trap?). the blockage was beyond reach.
the video shows only using a cup, but the instructions say 2 cups. waited 15 minutes, ran cold water. YEA! no more wading in water while showering.
I tried EVERYTHING to clear my clogged bathtub drain and NOTHING worked! This stuff works. I actually thought that the drain needed to be dry, but, I found out that maybe there should be water in the drain after reading the bottle so I ran a little bit of cold water for awhile. I had to go online to find out how much a pint is though, 16 oz. I used a plastic cup and measured 16 oz. and then used the product as directed. I no longer am ankle deep in water while taking a shower. Great find!
