Ouvi dizer que no México ele é chamado Pointer mesmo. O mesmo vale para a Rússia.

Na Argentina se tem o Gol Country como a Parati.

...a ideia do vídeo é justamente para que países de língua inglesa (ou qualquer um que saiba inglês mas não espanhol) conheça o Gol. ; )

No filme 'Karate Kid' (esse + recente com o Jackie Chan), em algumas cenas dá para ver uns VW Gol ao fundo.

Pois é, eu ainda não andei num G5, e não me lembro da última vez que andei num Gol Quadrado... mas não me esqueço do espaço para cabeça no banco traseiro do G2, G3 e G4. Tenho que deslizar para frente para caber no carro. O teto é muito baixo...

Nice video! One thing though... why don't the european market have this car? we got that lame VW Polo in our country, Norway btw, and even if it's new, i'm allready tired of seing this on the road...

This Gol sure is something else.

@spectrospirit well, Volkswagen sells the Polo here in Brazil too. But we don't think it is a lame car. It isn't a huge sucess here, but it is ok.

One thing about the Gol that not everyone know: its alarm system (the keycode receiver, etc) is the same used on Lamborghini cars.

Probably the main reason is because Volkswagen controls that italian manufacturer.

@spectrospirit BTW, I don't know what is the generation of the Polo sold in Norway..

But I'm sure your VW line-up doesn't have the Volkswagen Bus. In Brazil we call it "Volkswagen Kombi". It is almost the same car that was sold in the 50's, 60's, 70's... but it doesn't have an air-cooled boxer engine. They changed it for the water-cooled 4-cylinder Fox's engine.. in 2006(!).

And the Kombi is -still- the best selling van in Brazil. I'll try to send you a video that shows the 2006-2010 VW Kombi.

It sits in my garage and i occasionally drive it around the yard, fuck America's strict importation laws.

It's actually a Pointer, there was a Mexican that brought it over to go to college here and of all places broke down on my route to work. I stopped to talk to him, i bought it for $100, lol.

Velho, você ainda não corrigiu as seguintes informações: O Gol é o carro mais vendido desde 1987. Em 1986 era o Monza.

O Gol G4 surgiu no final de 2005, não em 2004.
